Amazing technological gifts those TDI engines. Especially the v6, v8, v10 and v12. Gotta respect them and take good care of them because technology like this wont come back! 2.5 r5, 2.5 v6, 2.7 v6, 3.0 v6, 3.3 v8, 4.0 v8, 4.2 v8, 5.0 v10 and 6.0 v12... all TDIs... amazing years for VAG
When Lithium runs out and people realise there are oil reserves for another 175 years - Audi will continue the production and further refinement of big diesels!
this is the engine i wanna drive, no mather how much i gotta bleed for it. have been dreaming a few years to reach an A8, after having driving my friend 4.2. audi 4 eva
The problem is all the transparent materials we have aren't all that conductive and would likely end up melting themselves down very quickly between the ignition and friction. There also wouldn't be much to see as at idle pistons are going up and down about 14 times a second.
I'll get excited the day Audi actually makes a see-through engine block. I think clear coolant hoses would be nice as well. If you you use luminescent coolant, then you would actually 'see the light'. Biblical prophecy # 45.
The crystal skulls were highly conductive, as was the staff of Ra, etc. I don't think there are any engineering problems. Most problems arise from production anarchy, (i.e.) 'what will we make next yr.'? Someone could design strobe glasses to slow down the pistons so you can see 'em even at 11 000 rpm. All ideas, even from lard-arses like myself, should be investigated and put in production. A 'light ' engine would be innovative. Led's went from dim to 220 lumens.
Even as somebody who owns , drives and wrenches on old Citroen’s with hydropneumatic suspensions, this bundle of snakes and tightly packaged turbo loaded diesel v8, is a big No no for me.
Echo540 540 also ich bin jetzt bei 220.000 km ohne Probleme , zieht wie ein Ochse und sparsam, 9 Liter komme ich bei normaler Fahrt. Wirklich null Probleme mit dem Wagen.
