Small capability performance test. Car is equiped with 6speed manual with low range. Sadly forgot to use low range and maybe that's why the car turned off a few times.
Mach ich mehrmals pro Woche (muß), tut mir bei meiner alten lady zwar weh aber sie hat mich im Gelände noch nie im stich gelassen! Geilste sau der Welt!!!
I have Allroad 2.5TDI and A6 1.9TDI 130PD. Allroad is 2-3 times more expensive then A6 on maintenance/repairs, can't compare comfort Allroad is much better but A6 after remap is bit faster. After 3 years with 2.5TDI I change timing belt, tensioners, fan belt , fuel hoses, MAS, temperature sensor, set up fuel pump witch been changed by previous owner, cams are original, car have bit over 260k km drink 8l/100km during calm drive. Be nice to engine invest to maintenance and will run for long time.
The main problem is poor maintenance because it is expensive. Before this Allroad I drove a 2.5tdi A6 for years with no problems and I had no idea what these people were talking about. With this car.. well I had to change the IP to a used one, I also changed the internal tank pump to a newer model (2004) that actually pumps fuel to the IP. Belts and rollers are all replaced. Another problem is the air suspension, which I replaced with new ones. Yes, as I've heard, there are also problems with the camshafts... luckily for me, not yet. Now that I think about it, the newer audis and bmws have a timing chain behind the engine ... so this 2.5tdi is even surprisingly pleasant :D
