I'm with Todd on the opinion between the Q8 and the URUS. If you're contemplating either of those pointless options, there's no rational reason to spend the extra cash for the Lambo badge.
I figured out what makes this review special - you two are having a conversation! Most videos with 2 reviewers, its two people taking turns talking versus having a conversation.
Glad to have you watching and enjoying what we do. This is our second channel, our original /EverydayDriver covers big comparisons - but it doesn't have 1M either. We're thankful to have you watching and commenting!
I drove a new one of a couple of months ago on a wet winding road. It felt like it was going to slip off the road. I drove a Jag F Pace Hybrid the next day on the same road. Felt glued to the road. I have since ordered a Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS which left both of the others for dead.
If you weren’t right about this being far superior to the Lambo, now that the RSQ8 is out, you are. (And you were right then anyway). All Audi vehicles are lovely highway cruisers, even my A3 and my last car, an A5. (And yes, I’m an Audi fan 😎). Love your work! 👍
I love these reviews, they're just talking about the driving experience and what it's like comparable to other cars. It's strange how so many other car reviews just don't do this but it's so basic it's what everyone wants to know. I have driven a few Q8s, and it's one of my favorite daily's to come out recently. It's actually sportier than I thought it would be and even though it's quiet and the exhaust note is subdued I like the sound of the engine.
I have an SQ8 and it compares to the Lambo and RSQ with the same motor. The Q8 is 1.6 seconds slower 0-60. My SQ8 is a rocket ship and the Q8 felt so slow when I test drove it. SQ8 is the steal of the bunch.
The question is how often - in regular street driving - will you even be able to let loose? Unless you have deep pockets to pay a lawyer to keep yourself from losing your license? I just got a SQ5 and it is very fast. The only time i can get up to near redline is on freeway entrance ramps
@@your_royal_highness Every day. Live in a suburb with backroads between me and the next suburb where I drop my daughters daily for Cheer, gymnastics, Lacrosse, etc. Rarely do I not launch at least once. Speed alert is set to 90 and I hit that often on a stretch with no driveways. Radar detector has saved me a few tickets. Plenty of places to find good roads.
Here's a question for any manufacturer that puts HVAC or heated seats/steering wheel controls in a touchscreen: does the touch screen work immediately upon start up when it's colder than 15° F? If no, does your car have voice commands that will operate these functions when the touchscreen is still cold and not working? If no, give us buttons. Even if the touchscreen does work at those temperatures, nobody wants to take their gloves off to operate the touchscreen in those temperatures.
Honestly guys.. if you don't want to feel distracted, you can simply just say " Hey Audi" and tell it what to do! She'll change your air the temp, the speed, your navigation, find your gas station, make a phone call ect... so you're good! 😊
I've seen 3 Lamborghini Urus. Even if I had the 💰🤑💸. I still wouldn't buy one of them damn things. The Urus, is clearly a fubar job 💯. Of a helluva sports car 🏎.
