Sister companies who have often had joint projects in the past. One could say that they have even colluded with each other to win Le Mans and other such titles. Think Porsche pulling out of WEC after their LMP2000 conflicted with Audi's R8 LMP1 project, or the Can-Am 917/30 in the 70s. There are many many more examples. I wouldn't be surprised if Audi shared test racers when developing cars.
@@CarlosAlvarez-yy2yx True, even the Porsche 917 was something they worked on together. Also if you look at the gt3 top level teams, its often a case that some drivers mature in audi then later on go to Porsche gt teams.
Lopata oh ok thanks, i thought it was the compressor of the paddle shift pneumatic system, not far but not the exact same thing. Yeah I've heard that noise in the Huracan GT3, Ford GT GTLM and some DPi. I'm always curious about sports car and aircraft mechanics, thanks again for your answer, have a good day/night from France !
Oh ok, I noticed that the system activates only when downshifting. Does the compressor or a part of the system is pluged on the engine or is it completely independant of the engine ? The previous systems were only electical ? Because never heard that pneumatic system noise in older GTs. Thank you very much again !
Irfan Ghani Nope look at the previous replies. Lopata answers me. I know that the gearbox does some noise but you hear it constantly. The noise I describe happens only during braking and downshifting it's the compressor of the paddle shift pneumatic system
Write please is it hard to rotate the steering wheel on this car, do you need a lot of effort? Very interesting is the difference in effort with game steering wheels for car simulators.
