Agree big time with the piano black parts of the interior. Unfortunately, that's damn near industry-wide. You know how the industry as a whole gets on with a trend because they collectively think everyone wants piano black because it "presents as luxury" or whatever. Nah. Piano black sucks in EVERY vehicle.

Thank you for the great video. It's really good to get an owners perspetive on the RS3 and helped me push my decision to the RS3 over the A45S as it will be my only car for everything so the livability is important. I just hope I'll be able to get one sometime in the next 2 years as Audi Australia have stopped taking orders because the wait time is up to 2 years now :( Hope the slight visual refresh looks good and only improves the car, but even as is it's the closest thing to perfection in what I'm looking for.

I agree with you, i reall hated the gloss on my A250 aswell... still waiting on my rs3 to arrive orderd Nov2022 est. arrival Q4-2023 The "good part" abou the negatives is atleast that those are easily to fix.. even if the should not be there the first place!!!! - some matt wrap on the gloss parts - alcantara / soft 3d wrap on the door sides (hard plastic parts) -aftermarket exhaust -the maxton diffusors Bit yeah it should not been up to us to fix those in the first place... (Now i have to check my order to see if i orderd the carbon or aluminum bar :/ ) did not know the carbon came without the LEDs!! :/

Had mine a couple of months. Agree 100% about the user log on, drives me mad. As does the lane assist that you have turn off every time you get in the car. Also, the Drive Select is terrible, super glitchy on my car and I know from forums, others have had the same issue. The car often starts in Dynamic, even though it was in Auto when I last drove it! Apparently there's a software fix coming from Audi? I agree on the plastics and the black trim is terrible. It gets covered in fingerprints and little scratches too easy. The parcel shelf - it's like a bit of cardboard. That's a joke. Oh and what about the missing trim at the bottom of where the front seatbelts meet the floor? I'm OK with the exhaust sound. I have the sports exhaust and it's fine. I'm not a fan of shouty cars and my RS3 isn't loud, but sounds nice. The brakes - I have the ceramics and they're amazing. Glad I chose them and no brake dust! The seats? For me, I'm 5'11" and average build. They're don't support you in the bends, but are comfortable. Mine don't have lumbar support and for what the car cost, that's a joke. The worst thing on this car and no one seems to mention it - the B&O sound system. It is utter rubbish! I've owned several Audi S and RS models with BOSE and B&O, all were better than the system in the RS3. Anything over 50% volume and it's terrible. Positives? Looks - mine is Tango Red, with the black optics and carbon trim. It looks amazing! I agree on the handling, it is fantastic and the engine, well we all know how good that is. Economy is OK too, I'm averaging 30mpg and it'll go up to 38mpg on long runs if you don't push the car that much. Performance wise, it is very fast and really is an animal in the RS drive modes. Love that! Overall - it's my daily - I have a new Cayman 718 GTS as my 'toy'. My RS3 is fast and practical, looks amazing and is great to drive. Gripes are the cost cutting by Audi, stupid drive mode and the way everything is a faff to navigate and that crap sound system.

I had PPF installed on the piano black interior panels asap to prevent scratching. No problems

Agree with the lights and how they constantly move around at night, if a car is in front of you they light up around that car, if you have an oncoming car on your right they turn down on the right but keep the left side going, street signs that reflect back they don’t shine on the sign but keep shining around it, it’s pretty cool. A couple of things I would add to the hate is the small size of the rear brakes compared to the front, it looks wrong and trying to clean the front wheels around the calliper cause there is not much room to get anything in there to clean brake dust and you get a lot of brake dust.

Hey man. I am an 2016 RS3 owner based in Vorarlberg. Looked at a new RS3 and COMPLETELY agree with the plastic bits inside. A real show stopper for me. One thing I also struggled with was the rear bumper "mesh" type style above the exhausts. Looks so cheap. I think that Audi hasn't quite delivered this generation when it comes to quality. They look fantastic, but the quality is not there. Same goes for the RS6 too! Looks great though and the tech inside must be really cool compared to my old analog one.... Which I still love! :D

could you tell me which option "number" you ticked for the interior with the carbon? -we choose the atlas carbon option, now i am not sure if we have the ambientlight strips or not :/ and there is no way to check the konfigurator anymore since its closed...

Point one is wrong. You just have to wait a Little bit and then it would start automaticly with your account.
