Ara Blue is such a underrated colour. So much crystal and a sick car.

67/18 plate is the best year as it has the Dazza engine with no OPF filters

Great video but that was not in proper launch mode, they can do 3.7 3.8 standard using the launch. A stage 1 rs3 will do 3.3

Guy in the work bought one of these and it cost him £44,000. Had it 2 weeks and it was stolen. Found in a farmers field on its side. I'd love one but would have to measure the width of the garage before buying one.

The nearest thing an RS3 should be compared to in the BMW line is the 140m (go faster hatchback), but that is more of an S3 equivalent, so it has to be an M2. The M3/M4 are in the RS4/5 segment.

Great content as usual Calvin. Your time for the RS 3 seems slow. I have a stock S3 8Y and it does 4.6. You might need a different RS3 for a comparison time. Your car knowledge and the amount of cars you’ve driven is impressive. Keep the content coming.

RS cars are way way more useable than the M cars being 4wd as opposed to rwd. If its for a daily then I would go RS every time, weekend/fun car maybe an M3/4 but still in the UK you can hardly ever use them due to weather.

rs3 is more than likely the best all round car, ill be biased as I've had 2 8v rs3's and 2 new shape 8ys, currently sold my most recent one. its been 4 weeks without one and I'm already looking at getting back into one.

My 332bhp 2003 WRX did 0-60 in 3.8 secs. (Drag strip timed) Very slow once you got it into the very long 4th gear though.

Having not even watched the m3 video and being a massive fan of the rs3 or any rs i would still take the BMW anyday ❤

I've got a 2019 S3 in Ara blue that I've owned from new . My car as the design pack which is red stitching and extra leather on the door handles and knee pads with the red stitch plus it as the super sport seats which I think are a must . Considered trading it in for a new Golf R 20 years but I"am in two minds .

the previous owner should have thought about things before swapping a quattro for a rwd near christmas time!

2016 rs3 is the best one with the best sound. I have one and always puts a smile on my face. Everyone is always looking.

I bought a 2019 8V facelift Daytona Grey RS3 sport edition saloon brand new which I reluctantly sold in 2020, and that was the time I saw your video on the nardo saloon and I disagreed completely with that video. I think they are awesome cars, they sound and go like nothing else really, not much can catch it off the line. The M2 may handle a bit better but the RS3 handle really well and that Quattro means you can gather pace around the bends easily. I sold mine for not much than what I bought it for so depreciation is rock solid on these. I do agree a Pan roof is a must and the sports seats. The front arches are also slightly flared. Definitely a car I miss and I think any petrolhead should drive one rather than the usual they understeer and what not comments.

Poor 0-60 time really! Was achieving 4 secs in my 2019 RS3 Sportback consistently with pan roof so heavier, stage 1 Revo tune was then hitting 3.4 secs and was so much more aggressive off the line, however quite a few variables such as fuel, road surface etc. An awesome car but now in a TTRS which to me is way cooler and much rarer on the road 👍🏻

Audis don't like to be breakboosted Calv, they sort of cut power a little bit when u breakboost hence the delay in takeoff.

Calv any chance you can get a Ford Focus rs mark 2 on your channel please, I owned a mk 1 then a mk2 after it, as you can guess they were completely different cars but if I could own any car I’d own a mk2 rs again, getting rid of it was a painful day for me which I’ll regret for the rest of my days !!! 😪😪

You would love the new rs3 as its a different animal. No more audisteer with the new torque differential. I think it will be a collectors car in the years to come

I’d have a RS3 or a TT RS any👏 day👏 of👏 the👏 week👏 Unfortunately ngl I don’t have the facilities for that right now. Also I’d never get insurance till I turn 25 as the insurance companies over here on the Isle of Man are a pain in the ass to work with so maybe next year🤞😂

Mine has super sports seats and no pan roof so not sure you’re correct on the seats only coming with the pan roof.

It says a lot when the first owner has lost practically nothing in 3 years simply because new car prices have risen to much. I doubt that will happen if you buy new today.

Seeing the draggy time I always knew carwow's OPF RS3 vs Pre OPF (DAZA) RS3 was dodgy.

I have a 2015 S3 Saloon manual from new......would have loved the RS3 but the £1500 road tax for the first 3 years was never going to happen with me and I still like a manual. I still love the styling of my car although I do like the dashboard of the newer generations......but I still think I got a bargain compared to the prices today. Yes it would be nice to have the performance of the RS3.....but looking at the state of our roads I'm more than happy to stick with my S3 as the extra spend for performance (in my opinion) has diminishing returns in real world use.

Pan Roof. Big money when it breaks, and it's about 50kg in the worst place possible. I'd like a normal sunroof

Prefer the sound of a 5 pot anyday! Do love the BMW 6 cylinder though, great engine, but ruined by too many chavs driving them these days! Hence the rep they get. For uk roads and weather I would take the Audi all day long! More useable anyday over a rear wheel drive

Have the m3 everyday of the week! Even the original owner of this RS3 had the sense to go bmw 👀. If you’ve never driven them back to back it’s worth doing as it highlights the Audisteer (understeer) and how they basically just sound and speed then the excitement is over

RS3s are good but after 60-70 their not as good as the way m3 and m4 pull it’s a safer competitor towards the m2 and m2 comp but m3 m4 are more for the rs4/5
