3.2 fsi. Needs new starter motor...I'm funked, last time I needed to replace a light bulb on the rear, I had to take apart half car. Not to say about my front ballast...
Do you recall specifically the tools needed?? Didn’t look like a terrible large amount. 16mm socket for the starter bolts?? 13mm for the cable on the starter, 13mm for the motor mount nuts, ball end Allen 6-7mm for the motor mounts?? Just curious, if going to do this at home and curious
I have a 2008 B7 RS4 I checked my relays (relays 645) they seem okay. I checked my switches they checked okay. So I was going to buy the starter and I was ready to take it out and I found like 16 gauge or 14 gauge single wire just unplugged. Plugged it back in and it started.
Can you specify more I didn't understand what is 16 gauge or 14 gauge single wire ot where its located sorry english isn't my first language and i have same problem & want to test your method before changing the starter, i already done checking Almost everything in the car
@@RuskiWeldFab Ha ha! No worries. It needs a full service, new injectors and a carbon clean as well so I'll get them to put a starter motor on at the same time.
Placing any starter between the engine and motor mount is insane , its asking for starter failure .That is the absolute worst design ive ever seen.the 3.2 is just as bad .
