Audi RS5 window tint installation to remove the lighter film and go darker. I think this Audi RS5 is a modded cleanly sitting on these three piece HRE wheels and coilovers. This Audi RS5 looks a lot better with darker tint all around. It's now riding with 20% on the sides and 20% over the lighter tint on the rear. Looks good man! I noticed that back window was kinda hard to do lol what kinda heat gun you use? I been using 30 dollar wagners, and I’m thinking about treating myself to a good one

Honestly it's not that hard to do.. I was just getting some small lines I like to keep out so I took my time. That's an old Cobalt heat gun I'm using. I love those guns but they don't make them anymore. Just take your time and watch the heat make the film spread before you card it down. I'll have a video on back shrinking soon.

Fade To Black LLC Any video you make is entertaining man! Not a lot of tinters that make videos are as open as you to their viewers your awesome! Maybe in the near future you could even do a curved window on a boat, that’s something else that gets me nervous besides a corvette glass lol. Those are the little things that prevent me from opening up my own shop

@@flaviolopez3069 much appreciated for the comments. Honestly those curved windows don't come around that often. So for a lot of they are difficult to do. The stuff I get mostly is trucks and cars, that's your money makers. I've only had a few Vettes in like 7 years so don't let that stop you.

I have 20% tint on the back an 30% front but my 20% (had it metered and was 20%) does NOT look that dark, so I’m so confused seeing 20% on videos that look much darker than my 20%, I have to look at a certain angle for it to be jet black otherwise you can still see straight through without an issue during daytime

I think it's all about the angles. I don't know what the rear glass was after I doubled it up. Lighting isn't the best in there either. Thanks for watching.

@@zilch7116 the front two always look lighter and 20% is light during the day it don’t matter what you do if it’s not 5% you can see right through. Especially standing in front of the vehicle

Try turtle wax spray wax or car wax film shrinks smoother wow I switched...

That's usually what I use. You can see that in my other videos. This was just a really tight back area, he wanted to go darker and the tint was still real nice. So I just went over it.

That's only with you.. I don't know how you can get used to that. It's just way to hard to see out of. I still have a ton of people wanting 5% these days though.

@@stk928 yes definitely. Seems the younger crowd still wants that and the older guys "been there and done that." I try to show people things in my videos because I know I'll miss steps or tips trying to explain on videos. If someone has questions I'm happy to reply and help if I can. I also try to make videos abouts my experience with my customers, then when they have questions I just send them the video and hopefully that helps inform them.
