@@Hack_es people with this kind of cars are, they bought the car for more than 100k I am sure they won't mind a $300+ normal service. Of course majority of people with budget friendly cars like Camrys and such won't be willing to pay more than 100 usd for an oil change and thats on the high end too...
@@nightarrow7473 And thats were u are Wrong. I worked at Mercedes benz dealership and only a few percent of the expensive car owners treated their cars well. Most of them or better the majority leases the cars, so they dont fell "ownership" as much maybe. Never the less, the owners of expensive cars argued way heavier about additional but necessary repairs, compared to older/less expensive cars.
A couple little things I'd recommend to improve this: 1. Lubricating gaskets prior to installing them can help prevent damage because it becomes easier to install them. 2. I would do one step at a time. There were several points where you would go and start something else. Replacing the air filter? Finish reinstalling said air filter before moving onto the next task. 3. I would leave the belly pan off until you can start the vehicle and build oil pressure prior to reinstalling and sending it on its way. Even gaskets installed correctly can have pinhole leaks. 4. I would not spray degreaser INTO the oil filter housing. I'm sure you wiped it all up but for the negligible benefit of doing that, there is still a small risk of contamination. However, I have started spraying degreaser onto my drain plug after reinstallation. It is a very good idea. I enjoyed the video. I look forward to seeing more.
Don’t add any chemicals or additives to your oil, that will only attack sealings inside the engine and can lead to leaks which can get extremely costly
That's bs. Additives help removing oil gunk? Idk what the proper name is in English. It's Ölschlamm in German. That can really prevent the filter from clogging.
The first one into the oil section is just a oil flush, he started the motor after so it cleans the motor, he then releases it, so the parts inside get flushed out with the oil. The additive into the petrol tank is probably just petrol additive, adds some octane like fueling your car up with premium petrol like 98/102 octane. It can run your car a bit better and smoothly than normal 95
The first one is Protec Engine Flush, which flushes the entire motor and removes all carbon built up and residues, the red one is Protec Fuel Line Cleaner which cleans the entire fuel system from the back till the injectors and the combustion chamber and the last one is Protec Nanoengine Protect and Seal, creates a highly active nano-barrier in the oil, which protects all internal surfaces in engines and assemblies. Everyone who respects his property should act like this, if not in every service, at least once every second service.
@@zafert85 The company and its products are not new in the market. They are out there for more than 30-35 years. You may never have come across any of them because they are sold mainly in the repair shops. On top of that, most of the products are TÜV verified for what they actually claim to do.
Cool stuff but what was that oil?… I wouldn’t pour some noname Pro Tec oil brand in my car lol.. especially with VAG cars they need to be explicitly VW/Audi compliant oil like Castrol, Valvoline etc…
@@kingpertinax Castrol is also shit, same with Mobil, don't know for sure about Vavoline, but the only oils I trust are from Motul and Liqui Moly and maybe Millers too
Where is the Castrol Edge Oil? Sure you can use something else but it is revommendet by audi so i would go with original parts as well as with the brands which are used by the brand
Surely any S/RS Audi has a £1 gasket that requires most of the engine to be removed to change it? Or wiring under-specc'd for the heat in the engine so it fails? That's a proper Audi service
Pause the video on the bottles. The products are from ProTec which I'm assuming arw similar to Liqui Moly. Shown is an engine flush, fuel treatment, and an engine oil additive.
Last time i did a chevy dealer service with my new suv...they lost my engine cover....and my roof antenna was missing....they blamed me I lost it...WTF..I FLIPPED...😂😂
Exactly, never want to go cheap on the oil filters especially. Idk if castrol is available to them where they live but they should use some full synthetic German oil like liqui moly is good.
An full dodge service would be oil change flush brake fluid diff service ac service new brake pads wipers fix any leaks belts and alignment air filters cabin filter and fuel service
this is far from a full service, didn't see you blew up the tires or check the profile, brakepads, suspension, axles, no spark plugs, no interior filter, no service or inspection reset with the computer, not checking the lights, wipers, etc.. a lot is not been don to call this a full service of a RS6, this is just an oil change and a new air filter and that's it..
True. If you spend more money for am oil change and decide to go to the dealership they will do the full inspection complimentary which is good in my opinion.
Jefke and fools Shut up. Compared to a Ford main dealer here in the UK this is world class. At Dagenham Ford they send you away for the day wash your car then charge you for oil, filters, plugs none of which where changed and of course advise you of hundreds if not thousands of ££ worth of additional work required that they have apparently spotted while doing fucking nothing. Main dealers and the car maintenance industry on the whole are fraudulent. Unless you stand directly over your car while it's being worked on (annual service specific) then you can bet your arse NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE other than a top up of fulids regardless when the itemized bill says.
@@sugarsaint why should i shut up, where I work, it is an official dealer and it is in europe (belgium) we are obliged to do our work like it is prescribed by the dealer itself, so do not give me the fraudelent excuus because we can not premitted to do so...
@@jefkeintwestvlaams5226 I called you a fool because you are one. MAIN DEALERS use there "credibility" to commit FRAUD I gave you an example that I my self have experienced and you talk trash about working at one? What difference does that make you think nobody works at MAIN DEALERS in the UK Another example is a one owner Audi I bought with FULL DEALER SERVICE history The main service was due soon after I purchased the car I'm friends with my specialist Vag mechanic and was talking to him when he removed the air filter, which looked more like the inside of a vacuum cleaner bag. Being VAG trained Vag accredited he instantly suggested that air filter had never been changed since the car left the factory REGARDLESS of the 3 main DEALER stamps in the cars service book. DO NOT talk to me unless you are serious and factual, I have lived this and know many other people who have been through similar with independents and main dealers alike.
hahahahahaha, did anyone else notice that it says (made in china) on the new oil filter? well, if you have an rs6 then please at least buy original parts
