I have a Audi Quattro with the same engine with Dual Clutch transmission, watching this video makes me miss driving a manual. Only in traffic situation I enjoy auto, paddle shift is good but not as fun as full manual.
Can you tell me what the ride quality is like overall please. Is it very firm ride ? Is it a good car as a daily driver on mixed roads ? Ive had an Abarth 595, that was firm but still comfortable, just wonder what its like as a comparison. Thank you
I daily a S1 since a year and its a very very good car although some details could be better :(I know it's normal its just an a1 ) 1. interior is very good but some plastics or some doors panels can sometime rattle a little. 2. the rpm is high when cruising on the highway (3k @ 140kmh) so its not a quiet car on the highway although totally livable but not a S class 3. be careful when choosing snow tires, I chose dunlop ones I thought they would be good but they caused me to crash 4. Noise, the car is way too quiet, fixable with a res delete or decat for some pop and bangs
If I were given an unlimited budget to buy a first car as a student, it'd be this one. Small, fairly easy to drive, yet pretty and quick. Although, if I were feeling ambitious, I'd buy an Audi RS6 or a Merc S-Class Coupé, for the heck of it. Though an S-Class wouldn't be a very good first car; after you've already had the best, everything else will be a disappointment...
+appelpower1 if you had unlimited budget I can almost be sure you would choose a much more luxury car. And no if you are rich you won't ever get tired of luxury cars.
Jake Woodbury Not as my first car. I'd crash into everything trying to park an enormous luxury car. And besides, it's best to have a manual as your first car, or you'll immediately forget how to use one. That stuff requires practice.
Elle est génial cette S1 mais c'est impraticable en Belgique avec ce genre de cylindrée! Entre les routes merdique, ralentisseur et radar...on s'éclate! :o)
+Alex Serrano I mean if you think 35K is a lot of money then you're probably some broke ass fuck. I can tell obviously lol. That mouth is full of shit.
