This is a short video for resetting the convertible soft top for 2008 Audi TT which was trying to open, but every time it would get stuck like a foot from its closed position and you would hear hear the motor running, but the top got stuck in that position. I have searched around and couldn’t find anything related to this issue I was having.
I finally found out that there is too much air inside the pump that was preventing the top to open further.

Once I released those air, the pressure got released and the top went down by itself.
Make sure to open that adjusting screw till the top goes down and sets flat then don’t forget to close the screw back clockwise to its original position. I hope this help someone and if it did, please like the video and subscribe for more educational videos.
