Happy TTRS owner here! I'm always surprised by how easily I can toss the rear end out, but as it's AWD, does snap back quite abruptly. Still an amazing and versatile car, especially on the street, I would pick it over the other two any day.

I dont understand why only 2 of the 3 are convertibles with a weaker chassis. And the 370Z is the automatic version?? A cayeman s and 370Z coupe nismo would be much more correct. You people always say convertibles fave more flex ... I dont understand how you can choose this lineup.

So he uses a convertible Z with traction control on and an automatic?! This was rigged to make the Z fail. Also how about comparing prices?

3 cars with 3 different gearboxes lmao. TT had a manual Boxter had a PDK 370Z had a torque converter auto Doing Gymkhana and track-days with an automatic gearbox... :-P

Yeah I could hear he didn't know what the hell he was doing in that Z. You can't run those with low Rs!!!! You have to push them up in the high6s or into 7 to get the best action out of the car especially around corners and I could hear he was being lazy with the engine and DEFINITELY was quirky with his shifting of it which he admitted in one of the contests. As an owner of the Z and someone who economically updated it I can tell you I could have given those guy a real run for their money on the drifting and the flying run race. Notice as well they did not do a race from a dead stop, VERY SUSPICIOUS as the Z is really quick off the line. This was more about how those guys drive than the cars they did. JUST SAYIN!

Having owned both the 370Z and the Audi, the Audi is noticeably quicker but the 370Z steering is much more precise. However on the whole I prefer the Audi.

As soon as it showed it was a convertible and automatic Z, I lost interest.

I think Audi TT RS cabriolet vs Porsche Boxster S vs Nissan 370Z or Audi TT RS vs Porsche Cayman S vs Nissan 370Z would be more fair since convertibles have weaker bodies (I know this was for fun).

However, I think the Nissan has the most glorious engine sound of all 3. So one win goes to Ben :)

In such expensive company it would have been much more appropriate to take a manual transmission Nismo. a automatic convertible Z is the least appreciate choice straddled with the extra weight. Even a base with the manual would have been better But of course that would have magnified the price difference to absurdity.

All this car testing footage really got in the way of the ads.

and in the real world where it rains somewhat, the Audi is still accelerating into the 4 wheel drive horizon, while the Porsche and Nissan are pulled out a ditch. P.S I am a Porsche fan BTW

The 370z Nismo should've been brought in this line up not the regular convertible version; however, even the regular convertible version still beats the Porsche and Audi. Nissan 370z Wins 👍

Ben can drive for shit! Guy in the Audi seemed like the best technical driver.

I like the Audi tt its more versatile with its hatchback n seats folded down .and its aluminium so no rusting. The ttrs is so fast your gonna get points so i would go for a tts a little slower but still quick.

370 looks the best. fact you aint driving like this on uk roads tells me what car id have.

I bought a 2019 Nissan 370z sport coupe with the 6 speed manual transmission new and have done a few moderately priced modifications. I installed stiffer anti-roll bars, a more efficient cold-air intake, a free flowing exhaust and a dynamometer tune. The car handles significantly better than stock and has gained about 55 peak crankshaft horsepower. All of this was done for less than $4k and my car has the performance abilities of a Porsche 911 Carrera S. The car also turns heads and gets complimentary comments from people who see it, as it is a black car that has seen multiple stages of polishing and had a double ceramic coating put on it. All of this has been done for a total car cost of under $40k.

How much bhp a car has means absolutely nothing when compared to how it handles and feels to drive, great video!!

I dont understand why they wont allow the nissan driver to get more than one try on anything, the drift bit was especially annoying, obviously the porsche drivers review was bias he was talking shit about his drifting which was definitely better than the porsche.

Audi the easiest to live with, super cruiser on motorways when needed and brilliant enough for country roads, the Porsche and nissan are extremely loud for long journeys

Not sure why they didn't get the fixed top 370 Nismo, it seems they've got the top end version of all the other cars... strange comparison.

The Z is tens of thousands cheaper and also slightly heavier/less powerful so I think it makes sense it's slightly behind these 2.

Down-voted because of the inexplicable choice of a non-Nismo Z. Could've used a Nismo and STILL been cheaper (and more reliable) than the other cars. If the convertible Z was still this competitive, imagine a Nismo: lighter, more powerful, stiffer, more aerodynamic, bigger tires, better suspension, bigger brakes, Ricaro-seated (wouldn't impact performance much, but surely the driver would've had good things to say), yet still less expensive than the others. No contest.

I think if anyone believes that Ben is a bad driver they should take a look at his career. Top Gear didn't pick him to hammer supercars around a rough track for nothing. He's in the heaviest car which is, unlike the other two, mated to an auto box - not a manual or DCT. Would Fifth Gear mind if an ex Top Gear member were to look outclassed on what the masses considered an outclassed show?

I dont get it. Why there is 1 coupe and 2 convertibles. And they also gave the Nissan the automatic gearbox. It was so down on price and they picked the 2 worst options to make it even slower. It should had been an cayman manual and a nissan coupe manual vs that tts coupe manual

Did anyone happen to notice just how far off he was when describing the curb weight of the cars at the beginning of the video? I did not quite believe my ears when I heard the presenter say a 48,000 pound Audi TTRS, a 43,000 pound Porsche Boxster, and a 36,000 pound Nissan 370Z. The weird thing is that it got past the producers of the show. I do enjoy the show, but I have never heard a mistake like that from them. I would have expected that from the Top Gear hosts.
