Most 80 year olds are taking it easy but not Arthur, he decides building a 600bhp golf R wasn’t enough so builds a 1400 Audi tt just because he wanted to. What a legend of man. Total respect to him.

At 65 I recently acquired a 2021 TTRS, at stock most likely the fastest car I’ve owned. I’ve had the ecu and transmission tuned by UM, and added a CTS intake. That’s enough power for the time being .😂

That sound is just wonderful, what a machine ! Definitely sounds like a race car.

The only thing about that kinda power in a car that just isn't built for even half that power? The kinda power and performance that you really need to do extensive checks on brakes, tyres, wheel nuts etc otherwise you would be in proper trouble. That mid full rev pull bump in the road looked like you nearly went airborne, so even the shitty quality of our roads comes into it at these kinds of power/speed. I know how scary that can be to get a flaw in the road you're on when you're booting it and I was only going 130ish mph, this motor would do that so easy. It's an incredibly effective weapon and I doubt there's much on the planet that will compete, stunning! Must be great driving a car that you know will easily annihilate anything else on the road haha!

I remember when Arthur build his Golf R then he sold it to Calvin and then he raffle the car,someone crashed it and Calvin( Calvin's Car Diary)bought it back and is now almost restored. I've just discovered this channel recently, absolutely love it, you guys find the best cars.

All the 1000bhp + built cars driven on you tube,kinda make me think the veyron back in 2005 was a steal at the price, no fuss,no dramatics (other than running costs) endless performance with no hiccups. All the built cars such as Arthur's ttrs (while showing the upper most respect for them) show just how difficult and temperamental getting a car of that bhp to be daily and reliable is.

I am actually very surprised to see just two pipes rather than the four I would have expected for this power output. Never been into TTs before but what a fabulous transformation this has had, tempted to buy Audi as I am informed they tend not to rust, so that is good enough for me, and then there is THIS! I have a Mk1 and 2 and they are stock standard and give a thrill. I can only imagine what 1400hp does to you. I can see a Mk3 TTRS in my future and they are blistering at only 400hp.

for reference, accelleration from 100 - 200kmh on a Hyabusa Turbo (316hp) is 3.5 seconds Only thing i know of that can do it in 2 seconds is a Renault R25 F1 Car (approx 800hp & 1300lb curb weight)
