AUDI Quattro, Quattro A1 and A2 (and later versions S1 E1, E2) , better known as the Urquattro are some of the most iconic Rallycars ever made. The turbocharged straight-five engine ensures a distinctive sound.
In recent times this car has been used for hillclimb races, rallies, ice races... In this video we caught some drifts, flames and flat out of this impressive car.

Looks like the owner of the Video has to do some research about the correct names of Audi s Cars . Audi Ur Quattro S1 - does not exists , since the Ur Quattro , or oficial Name Audi Quattro , has long wheel base and the S1 has short wheel base , chassis is from Audi Sport Quattro . Also , there have never been Audi Coupe A1 and A2 versions - because A1/A2 are Group B Cars and Audi only used the Audi Quattro Chassis ( Ur Quattro ) and no Audi Coupe Quattro in times of Group B . After Group B was banned they used Audi Coupe Quattros in competition - but not turbocharged ... ;-) The Sport Quattro at 0:31 is for sure the Car owned by Florian Rotter . I have to smile a lot if I see this A1/A2 " Rallye Quattros " using a fly-off handbreak , this also never exists in the Group B cars - without a center diff ( like in original cars ) , you would be suprised what happends if you pull your fly-off . If you know how to drive a Rallye Quattro , you would always use Scandinavian Flic to turn the Car into the corner . Its like the diference to have dinner at a 5 Stars Restaurant or Mc Donalds - but I know a lot will prefere Mc D .... In total , nice to see such Videos , I only want to reduce the confusion about the type designation of the vehicles ....

Thanks for your comment, you're completely right... 1981 & 1982 Audi Quattro, 1983 Audi Quattro A1 later A2, 1984 Audi Quattro A2, 1985 & 1986 Audi Quattro S1... UrQuattro is especially in the german speaking area the name of this cars. We will remember, thanks 😊

Hello Petr, thanks for your comment. I'm not sure, but the next event where you can see such an Audi will be the Rally Lessinia near Verona in February, the Rallylegend San Marino in October... But there are lots of events between them
