Just got my UrS4 delivered from out of state. Your channel has been such an inspiration! The price was right but the turbo system and other bits had been dismantled. Thankfully all the parts were still in the trunk upon arrival. Watching your content gives me hope I can put everything back together and get comfortable pulling the engine- Huge thnx man!!!
Reef I plan on doing a DIY turbo kit build for one of the episodes. I will show how I make the wastegate pipe open dump. If you watch episode I @32:10 I show the gate and dump pipe on camera. Thanks for watching, hope this helps!

U were talking about a whine in the transmission? I have the same sound on mine but i did change the oil in the gearbox. Do you know if it may be the diff whining?
I pulled my ecu in my 93 urs4 to see what chipset i had in it put it back and now a no start ran perfect before i took ecu out.any thoughts? Did i kill the ecu by just taking it out? If so do you know where i can get one? Any help would be appreciated.thanks.
@@markroberts9225 sorry I missed your other comment, glad you found the issue. This happened to me many years ago with my first car and it was frustrating. But I learned a lot about the car during my diagnosing process. When I found it was just a simple fuse right there above the ecu I was kicking myself because the car sat for at least a few days. And it never will ;) Really cool car though, I had a chance to drive one a few years back and I really liked it. Not the biggest fan of newer cars but I really do like the c7 s6 even though no manual transmission :(
Man that's cool! Haven't driven mine for almost a year. Tried to get the ecu chipped and the dude failed. The ecu is dead. Cant find another one in new Zealand 😔 anyone have a spare??
@@quattro4life20vt ok. I have a -97 S6 C4 2.2TQ that came from Germany originaly. And it was ordered with MTM stage 1 from factory. And to my suprise they had ditched the engine check light and the wire to it from the ECU. I had to wire it in myself. And when I did it imidietly came on. Fault code: «bad checksum» Just a little side note;)
@@larsnergard wow, I've never heard of an issue like that before. Every car should have left the factory with this tune, the ignition timing map is perfect and really wakes the car up!
