Good video, thanks for that. Audi deliberately do this so that we can take it to them for repairs. It's the worst design I've ever seen for a bonnet release, and it's made from plastic so that it will eventually break, it's ridiculous ☹️
Well as luck would have it, my hood latch would not release. I wedged a plastic trim removal tool between the hood and grill, then pulled the hood release lever. That worked for me.
Quick question off topic from another video. If u remove the timing chain box can it throw the time off?? I heard that on another video but we never touched the chain.
Off the subject, do you recommend a better gasket then what is made for the High pressure vacum/pump. After rebuilding my engine it leaks just a little. Enough to be annoying smelling burnt oil coming through the vents witj the heat on.
