All your pages are beautiful. And you really do patterned pages well. My favourite I think is the title page in the German book. The colours are glorious. I'm dreading autumn, so I won't be very enthusiastic about colouring season specific pages. I really hate the darkness of winter so I start to get very stressed about it now.

Hi Maia! Gorgeous, gorgeous pages for August! I always say that, but I think maybe you've outdone yourself this time. I love all the bright colors you used this month--all the bright greens and hot pinks and metallics. I think my fave was the mermaids with the dragon--that page was just stunning!

Omg I have the rainforest watercolor book, I have literally had it forever, love it! I loved all your pages of course, my absolute favorite favorite was the 1 in Exotischer Urwald, I really loved the first one, the mermaids, and the Eel page from lost ocean ❤❤

I found your channel a few weeks ago, and I'm so glad I did. Your use of so many media makes watching your videos a joy! I'm also learning about some books that I didn't know like the Wonderland by Amily Shen. I hope I can get one.

So many beautiful pages! I love the dragon and how much shimmer you gave the scales. I also loved the flowers in the Magical Journey bc the background makes it look like some sort of magical fire burning behind them. But my favorite is the Exotischer page, the colors and shimmer come together for a very striking appearance! You inspired me to look again for that book and I found it new on Amazon in stock surprisingly!

Maia, Your colorings are gorgeous!!! I especially loved the first page you showed in Mermaids in Wonderland of the mermaids holding up the dragon. The background with the blue glitterific is stunning. I also loved your kiwi page in The Magical Journey and finally my third favorite page is the Jellyfish page in The Lost Ocean. I’m inspired by your use of glitterific and color shift paints and they are on my wish list. However, I didn’t care much for the green color shift paint used in the background in the coloring book of Scotland (but loved the rest of your picture!) Could you explain why and when you use the Satin Glazing Liquid? I bought the Gloss version based on the recommendation of another RU-vid colorist but haven’t used it because I don’t know what I’m supposed to use it for. When do you use the Degas Fixative? Do you spray all your finished pictures with this fixative or some other sort? When you say Supracolor watercolor pencils, I assume you are referring to the Caran d’Ache brand; I’m confused because Caran d’Ache call their watercolor pencils Prismalo (different colored barrels) or Museum/Museum Aquarelle (all pencils have black barrels). The Caran d’Ache regular, non-watercolor pencils are called Supracolor which is what you refer to your beautiful pencils. Lastly, I have The Magical Journey & The Magical City books and would love to see you do some color alongs in these books. Following from Hawaii🏝️

Hi Maia, I’m from the UK and I absolutely love your work, it’s amazingly beautiful and I love your colour choices. Yesterday, inspired by you, I brought some acrylic paint to do a background. It was a complete disaster 😂, the brush was shedding black bristles in it, the paint was drying too fast, the brush strokes were showing along with the bristles! How on earth do you get your acrylic paint backgrounds looking so amazing, they’re seamless, no brush strokes and no sneaky bristles!!! In the end I added a little bit of water to the paint and used a foam brush. Please send help 😂
