Smart people. Because the dissatisfaction means nothing when you people continue to buy product regardless of if you like the current game state or not.
Also Yugitubers sleeping on the Tachyon FTK in their banlist "predictions" which has a ton of ways to perform it and not by just using Catapult Turtle since we have a ton of FTK enablers free. It's either Galaxy Eyes Afterglow or the new Tachyon support that needs to go.
@@alchemistarcher02 OCG has all enablers banned + Catapult Turtle in the most recent banlist, before that Tachyon FTK was very popular and easy to perform
Hi Hakuna. Small suggestion not sure if its useful; Could you collect all the card changes and make a graphic (maybe using tiermaker?) of what an actual banlist would look like from the survey results included at the end? I think it'd be interesting to see an overview of what the community generally believes the banlist would look like. So for this one the banlist would be; Banned: Apollo, Albion, Hot red, beatrice, Flamberge Limited: Skill drain, Ash, Sangen summoning Unlimited: Prank link 1, drident, summon sorc, pank, heavy storm
I feel like the idea of banning a card literally just because of its attribute / type is completely insane lol. They should NOT hit moon of the closed sky lmao
Agreed, closed sky actually has an effect that isn't broken at all. It's like banning relinquished Anima because snake eyes can go into it as well. Requiem should be hit as it's recyclable and just easy rank 6 turbo
Obviously its not ideal. but its just early days hits as they cant hit fiendsmith cards directly. ofcourse once they do, moon would then become unlimited. Nobody uses the card outside of fiendsmith anyway its not good plus its only a common.
I'm on the side of ban Lurrie over Moon. Lurrie is the one that lets you go through the full Fiendsmith line before committing anything else to the board. Moon still requires you to commit 2 bodies to the board before going into your Fiendsmith line.
It sucks moon of the closed sky is at risk of being banned because of attributes and nothing to do with its effect, it feels wrong. such a cool card which the only reason is broken is poor card design on the part of fiendsmith.
It's the usual, blame the combo players that shove anything into a meta deck as engines. So many good decks end up getting hit because it was included in yet another dogpile engine.
@@Did_No_Wrong how about you blame konami for making all of these lockless cards to begin with? Like, let's be honest, Snake-Eyes wouldn't be broken if Ash/Poplar came with a fire lock
It's the same treatment ppl is doing with beatrice, unless ur fiendsmith it's ok to have a card such as beatrice which can only be accessible to rogue and off meta due to the 6 axis reliance (I mean it's not Lavalval Chain that it's accessible to everyone). I personslly don't agree on the ban because i completely lost faith on Konami's way of using the TCG banlist at this point: there's a shitton of bloated bans and limits that could've been already lifted eons ago and Beatrice would probably stay banned forever even after a Future ban of Requiem/Lacrima cause at that point Bea could still be brought back. Speaking of bloated hits, still can't process how we still have in the list cards such as: -Drident -The Ishizu Shufflers post Millers ban -Striker and other major D-Link hits post Baronne and Savage Ban -Meow-Meow Mu (Powercrept) -Fucking Red Rose post-Baronne ban and BASED being powercreept -D-Rulers doing absolutely nothing even with a +6-7 available -Armageddon and Grepher Eventually the list could get even bigger with a potential Apo ban Yet people still want stun being played 1x on side decks and still wants to fucking limit fountain to 1 i swear to god the next yugituber that makes another shitty banlist prediction video i'mma freak out
@@BetweenShades It sucks that the good decks make good cards broken and take them from rouge. Swordsoul is by far my favourite deck and the ban was because she was too much in a snake eyes endboard or a kash board where if the negate is used just bring back fenrir baronne is a good card but only broken in the decks which are already broken, banning it hurt them aswell as a lot of rouge decks ability to play as well. also fuck nib
Might as well release everything off the banlist. Theres so many toxic cards in yugioh its just a toxic game now. What difference does it make anymore other than deterring players from buying new decks.
I will die on the hill that gamma should be unlimited. If u shotgun shifter in draw or standby to avoid talents or use droll at first opportunity regardless of if your opponent has committed to the board there should be a punish. Currently those cards require zero thought before dropping and it encourages mindless play. With gamma in the meta u at least have to think about if the HT is worth it or if its better to wait. Plus making going second easier without maxx c esque draw effects is in DIRE need right now..
no Maxx c. will never come back especially when there's two other cards that are the same as it and you can activate more than 1 to draw from summoning from hand then there's the other one that draws from summoning from deck or extra deck having Maxx C. would be terrible. this format sucks
Either they errata the DBarrier to also include links or they ban it. Link summoning getting a free pass for no reason other than being released later than the card itself is just stupid.
I think the reason people were predicting I:P ban is for Flamberge and S:P, without i:p S is just a good going 2nd card, but 3 disruputions ironically makes it impossible to go second, defeating the original purpose of the card. Spright lives and dies on I:P being legal tho
@@insaneck The power, grind game, and consistency is there. If anything its more linear and by extension more easily handtrappable. But they can pull off a water lock.
I think they'll ban Beatrice in the list after the August one, I think the TCG will tunnel vision on banning Snake-Eye out of the format (Flamberge, Poplar, Apollousa gone) and still let Fiendsmith cook a little longer. I'd love for Beatrice to get the boot In August but I don't want to have my expectations dashed and knowing Konami they'll think that killing Snake eye is enough generosity from them.
I feel like Beatrice is a fine enough ban right now strictly to curb the deck without hitting the engine directly. Especially when it can still fully end on other options like the Rank 6 Caesar. Plus it future proofs any other potential archetype that opens up Rank 6 Xyz that easily to not just give them an "in-archetype" Lavalval Chain. Speaking of, it's really sad, the idea that Beatrice, a card inherently tied to Burning Abyss, would be banned when in its own archetype it's explicitly prevented from using her effect on that turn by overlaying onto Dante. It's also ironic when you consider the history of the irl Dante who wrote The Divine Comedy that the BA archetype is based on, with Beatrice being more his "lady love from afar" than an actual partner. Dude was basically a simp for the irl girl and then she died, so he immortalized her in his story. So Beatrice only being partly related to Dante/BA and her being utilized and connected much more to other decks/archetypes is hilarious and oddly fitting.
I am so sorry!! I stopped getting responses so I decided to work on the video a day earlier than expected. I’ve officially closed the survey now to prevent further confusion. Again, super sorry about that, I should’ve closed the survey first but was trying to rush this out lmao
D barrier should be limited or banned preferably. Protos needs to be rebanned. Misc is balanced at 1. Change of heart is a target snatch 1 monster as if it won't be negated anyway it can go to 3 and help in going 2nd. Electrum can go to 1 maybe have rogue pendulums somewhere sometimes. Glow up bulb hard once per duel effect yea come back.
I feel mis represented, there was 0.0% vote for the semi limit of gimmick puppet nightmare, however I think it would be a healthy change and a good way to stop people from abusing this card from putting 3 of them on your field, ensuring you can't play. it's time to end that!
Sir 19% said snake eye to remain tier 1 not tier 0. Plus 80% want it destroyed, people do want it to get out now, 80% is massive when reading polls. Also true from the ppl bot already out, the talkative ones, 60% wants to quit, this is huge numbers and Im one of them. Actually already quitted.
Banning moon is pretty dumb. It’s the equivalent of banning a garnet or an vanilla. Not because of it’s effect, is why any card gets hit, but because of it’s typing and attribute? That’ll be a first in this game’s history unless something similar happened before.
@@BetweenShades but rusty actually did something. You couldn’t link it off, but you were using it to set rank up magic before it got the axe. I’m referring to an card that does NOTHING like moon but got banned.
it’s funny to me how i used to use ghost sister and spooky dogwood as a funny hand trap to use against my opponents and i would be made fun of for using itand now it genuinely is seeing a lot of play. WHOS LAUGHING NOW
Not for nothing banning answers to degenerate decks like d barrier & shifter isn't the answer. You need cards that stop these wildly expensive broken combos from building unbreakable boards.
In 2 months after the banlist comes azamina will be in tcg I don't think they are going to delete snake eye also I don't think they are going to hit tenpai. I hate the deck don't get me wrong but Konami should leave other op decks to compete with fiendsmith variations
I really think Requiem needs to get banned, its like halqifibrax where that card abused tuners and fiendsmith requiem abuses light fiends. "It kills fiendsmith though" thats good do you really want to play against any deck capable of summoning a single light fiend to go full fiendsmith combo
Unban Circular Put Called By to 2 Ban Flamberge Errata Beatrice to require a Burning Abyss material to be able to use their effect but also make it so she can only use her effect during your turn if you did not summon her using her alternative summoning condition.
Keep Called by at 1 and Circular can stay banned. Erratas have to start in the OCG first so unless Beatrice gets banned over there as that's usually a requirement for an Errata then an Errata won't happen.
the thing with king calamity is I've already seen players move on to the next best thing. quasar, blazar, sifr... those monsters are fair when they can't be cheated out and instead summoned properly. crimson dragon is the problem
I doubt Dimensional Barrier will get banned. deck lock down is not being played enough to get limited or banned. Little knight could be limited or semi limited. Konami needs to hit main deck cards and some extra deck monsters. Princess needs to get banned Dimension Shifter should be banned. Tenpai needs their field spell at 1 at least same as Runick Fountain the quick spells needs to be semi limited for Runick. call by the grave won't be banned
S:P being limited or semi'd does absolutely nothing. I don't see any deck running it as a 3-of and rarely even see it running it as more than 1. That's like Limiting Flamberge or I:P - does actually nothing to deck construction, which is the point of the banlist.
The problem with Konami limiting every floodgate instead of banning them is that stun decks are just gonna play a crap ton of one-off floodgates :D I wish they'd just ban them instead of eliminating them slowly one by one
@@wolfwoodstyleblue3946 before everyone was playing harpie's feather, mystical typhoon and so, and no one was complaining about floodgates, actual players are just crybabies who want to play all the handtraps they can
People should stop listening to Pak so much. He is undoubtedly a good player but his idea of good game design is what makes him win more. Just because someone is a good player of a game it doesnt mean they know how to exactly make a game fun. He got so salty at losing to dogwood he wants it banned now despite her being objectively the worst ghost girl. Case and point for why pros cant always be good game designers: Halo games
I honestly find it baffling that Desires stayed on the list in any capacity as long as it did when Prosperity was never even touched despite seeing a *far* higher use in top decks than Desires ever did. The fact that Desires is back at 3 and it doesn't even get a whiff in the meta says it all.
Konami during the survey: That one kid really seems to like the speedo man! Here's a proposed look at Tearlaments. Frobidden Keldo the Sacred Protector Mudora the Sword Oracle Tearlamens Kashtira Limited: Tearlaments Reinohart Tearlaments Kitkallos Semi-Limited Primeval Planet Perlereino Unlimited Tearlaments Merrli Tearlaments Scheiren Tearlaments Havnis I don't like Konami's cherry picking style of banning cards, instead of looking at the TearShizu deck and banning the cards that were problematic which was obviously Ishizu's cards, they decided everyone was in trouble in the deck and left Tearlaments as one of the weakest engines in the game and drank the kool-aid everyone else did and fail to remember how even at full power before the maven set came, how much Ishizu-less Tear struggled to dominate against SPRIGHT.
You could just either put Kitkallos to 1 or unlimit Scheiren/Merrli. Havnis could definitely go to 3 as well, but it's what the casuals complain the most about, so I guess she should stay at 1. I have no idea why you want to put Perlerino to 2, Reino to 1, and TearKash in the bin?
Flamberg is to terrible for forbidden. Original sinful spoils and black witch are busted cards. Fenrir is to broken for 3 . Sangen summoning going 1 in other banned list.
Full Fiendsmith combo, set Summon Limit pass, on your turn, flip Summon Limit. Did you draw the out? Oh sorry, sucks to suck. Anyway, on my turn, summon Ash, send Summon Limit and Ash to summon whatever from deck, response? Why do you want this?
