This is easily one of the best intros to any metal song ever. First time I ever heard it I was like wtf this is insane, it's been what 11 years now? Fuck me this is too good.
As nonreligious as I am, I do admire the way some bands such as August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, etc. choose to express their faith.
Wow. A 12 year old comment. You wrote this in 2010,near the peak period of this style of post hardcore music. I wonder how much life has changed for you, do you even still log into this account? I hope you are still jamming to good music wherever you are, because at one point in history, we were both rocking to the same music
the best part of this song is at 2:37 however, i thank you for this pen and ink, AMMUNITION thank you for the inspiration! badeee da duh ...... FUCKING LOVE IT.
Think I found these guys on MTV just before they stopped airing music videos on Feb 2010. Man those were the fuckin days. Being in middle school, turning on the tv to see a bunch of cool rock/metal bands then going across the street to the park to skate
Best intro, drum and guitar break-down of all time. Gotta appreciate the musicianship and epicness of this beginning riff no matter your style in music makes ya wanna bang ur head.
Best Drummer in the Industry next to Lamb of God. Best Singer next to As I lay Dying and Lamb of God singer for Male singers. Best Guitarist next to the same bands. Keep it Coming!!
9 years ago, feel's like it's only been 3 years, i miss those times listening to this in highschool, such a classic song by ABR, it has such a uplifting, heavy and positive vibe too it, probably one of my most favorite songs by them honestly.
Push your controlling values aside, and dissect your own life. It's not about my beliefs. It's about personal choice. It breaks your heart to see me consume, but it shatters mine to see people follow you. Love Them!
So, I’ve decided to start praying for this band as a whole, that “you would glorify God in EVERYTHING you do and be a witness to those whom you come into contact.” Love you all [in Christ]. PS: Thank you for the inspiration 👍👍👌🙏👏👏
damn i remember seeing these guys last march with all that remains and born of osiris. there were only 200-300 other people there and it wasnt even a sold out show. i only went to see ATR and ive never heard of ABR before. these guys stole the show for me and ever since then they have been one of my favorite bands. and now 1 year later, they have become huge and sell out huge venues. and i missed seeing them a 2nd time cuz i dont have a canadian passport. i cried :'(
Dam! I know this comment is twelve years old, but I also used to listen to the same exact music, and it’s so cool to read a snapshot of a moment in history when these bands were at their peak. I wonder if life has changed for you in 12 years, and do you still ever listen to this music? Blessings and love friend .
I see a lot of people are bitching about how 'boring' this video is. Does that mean that the video for Meddler was boring too? It was the same thing pretty much and i enjoyed both. Love getting to see the bands play and rock the hell out :D
I think they dropped the ball on this video. They're a brilliant band with a brilliant song and all they did was make studio footage for a music video. They should've thrown in a storyline.
although this entire song is epic.... check out the peak of epicness at 2:37. however, i thank you for this pen and ink AAAMMMMUNNIIITTTIOOONNN thank you for the inspiration fucking goosebumps
@StarShredder777 actually it is how the listener translates them. some could think christian, agnostic, or anything else. religeon of the band somewhat does it but the listener does the most.
