I was born in Augusta, raised in Augusta, spent my entire childhood in Augusta. As the final round of the 78th Masters Tournament rolls on, this song adds to the magic of the Augusta National. I've loved this piece for many years.

It’s that time of year again boys

When I was small, I sat down with my grandfather to watch this tourney. This music became a part of that memory, seared into my brain for all time. I carried it with me as we golfed when I got older, hearing it as I walked to a green or as I smiled when a tee shot sang true. Hearing this again reminds me of him, makes me smile again, brings tears to my eyes at the memories. Thank you, Titleistprov. Thank you for helping me remember.

I love this song. This is the song of spring and the start of the first Major. I had the privledge (through Ft Gordon) to be able to go to the 1st round of the Masters back in 1995-1996 and loved every minute of the experience. I would love to come back and enjoy the Masters as a patron and to bring 2 of my best friends that I know would enjoy the experience

I've been to the course several times during tournaments and all. Kind of nice having family that works there.....

I just wanted to thank the contributor of this song for posting this. I have been trying to locate this piece in its entirety for many years, and now, you did that for me. I will never forget this song being played in the background during the final highlights of the 86 Masters while being commentated by I think "Verne" Lundquist, as Jack Nicklaus surged birdie after birdie to win his 6th and final green jacket. One of the greatest moments in golf history. Thank you once again!

Yes a tradition like no other, and CBS uses the ridiculous sound track from football games when cutting for commercials. One of the main reasons I watch the Masters is to hear this song and the sights of the course. Last year I watched Direct TV's multi coverage to catch the music. Here that CBS, I didn't watch your coverage.

Can I use this for a golf flyover or does it have royalties?

I just found out today that Jack had a neighbor kid who developed cancer at age 11 and died at age 13. He and Jack made a pack that Jack would wear a yellow shirt one day in every tournament hel played in. The boy "Craig Smith" died at the age of 13. When Jack was getting ready to play the Masters in 1986 he remembered his pact with Craig and as you can see Jack was wearing a yellow shirt when the won the 1986 Masters.

Does anyone know the name of the HBO's Wimbledon theme song. I think HBO stopped televising the Wimbledon tennis tournament in 1995. I just loved that theme, song as well as the masters theme song. Beautiful music.

1 week till we get to see if Tiger Woods can make a triumphant comeback. I think it might happen, hes starting to play a bit better lately. The Georgia state of mind will bring him back to the top.
