Aukey Dashcam Review - With Test Footage! 

Exactly for the same reason i bought this and everything works great at the beginning which is exactly this guy is showing when he first got it. The video is super crisp and quality is good and lot of features and the motion detection for night parking works most of the time too. However review it after a month. Mine worked perfect less than a month. After that it constantly restarts while driving, tested out various USB and Cigarette lighter-not the issue of the power, however the unit itself has issues. It is not just me, but if you go to amazon and read the reviews, 80% of the users complain about the same issue- restarting, dying after a month and reliability issues. It it works longer for at least a year then it is really good product, however majority of them die/start to develop restart issues and defeats the purpose of dash cam while emergency. I WISH ALL THESE SO CALLED REVIEWERS JUST TEST IT OUT FOR A MONTH OR TWO AND ALSO FACTOR IN THE RELIABILITY FACTOR BEFORE TRYING TO BE THE JUDGE INSTEAD OF JUST GETTING IT RIGHT FROM AMAZON AND REVIEWING IT ON THE SAME DAY OF RECEIVING WHICH ONLY TEST THE FUNCTIONALITY NOT THE LONG TERM RELIABILITY. EVERY KNOCK OFF CHINESE PRODUCT WILL HAVE EXACT FUNCTIONS OR EVEN OUTPERFORM THE REAL PRODUCTS IN THE BEGINNING BUT THE REAL TEST IS IN THE LONG RUN WHICH THESE SO CALLED REVIEWERS FAIL TO TEST GIVING VIEWERS WRONG IDEAS FOR DECISION MAKING ON WHETHER TO BUY THIS OR NOT. IF THE REVIEWER HAS TIME, HE SHOULD REVIEW IT AND TEST IT PLUGGING IT IN HIS CAR (REAL TIME) AND RUN IT ALL DAY FOR A MONTH JUST LIKE ANY USER WILL ACTUALLY DO AND THEN PASS ON THE JUDGEMENT INSTEAD OF REVIEWING AND TESTING IT IN STUDIO WHICH ALWAYS WORKS FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS. REAL TEST IS THE TEST IN THE CAR CONSTANTLY WRITING DATA FOR AT LEAST A MONTH OR TWO. NOTE- Reviewer- please don't give partial in studio review which will cause users to pull the trigger on wrong/un reliable products. Thank you

This is a very good review. You gave me a idea of how the camera would perform in different lighting conditions. Most other reviews don't show nearly as many different lighting conditions as you have shown.

You can use the CPL Filter for the A119 dashcam to reduce the reflection from your dashboard.

good good work. I have a question for you. in parking mode if it detects only one movement, will it record for how many seconds?

Format Warning gives a notification to re-format the card every so often to make sure the card is always working properly because cards need to be reformatted a lot as they tend to corrupt sometimes and then video won't be recorded. So it's just a preventive warning to prevent that from happening

How is the mount working out for you? What do you recommend if we want to use this dash cam between multiple cars?

Whenever my car restarts mine loses all my settings and the date. Theres no onboard battery at all just to save the date etc?? Usually they have one just to do that. I know you said it has a small battery on yours, is mine not working right?

Frequency is for those led headlights. Countries have a different standard at which frequency they run at... So say all the cars use 60hz and your camera records at 50hz, then the headlights will be flickering like crazy on the video. I mean, its the same when you see someone record their led TV and it flickers... Because the TV and recorder is running at different frequencies.

What is the Mail button for? (all the way on the right)

It's not standard standard usb plug in. It is the variant, not sure the exact name as I don't have the directions in front of me right now. If one were to try to plug in your standard plug-in ,ie, what one finds on an Android phone, they would end up bending the pins and destroy the unit if pushed hard enough.

Have you tried the aukey 4k version of this? Also do you know if there's any mounts that I can use so I can use on a tripod or a gimbal?

The last language is actually Japanese but written in Kanji (Chinese characters since Japanese writings have borrowed a lot of the Chinese).
