I love how has started getting "special Pokémon." People were always saying that Ash never gets anything "special," but now he's trained Ash-Greninja, Dusk Form Lycanroc, Naganadel, Melmetal, and it turns out the Pikachu he had since the beginning can use a special Z-Move and Gigantamax.

Technically Ash's whole Alola team was special because it consists of his Pikachu with a unique z-move, two starters, a new currently unique Lycanroc form, an Ultra Beast, and a new mythical Pokemon.

Hmm I'm leaning a bit towards Aura Burst Lucario especially with the recent episode with Ash and Rioulu reacting to Korrina's Lucario's aura. Unless if Ash gets Inteleon (which hints he might get Sobble thanks to the special trailer) and gets a special ability/evolution

I agree with either the Lucario and Urshufu ideas. Personally, I think Ash’s Bulbasaur and Squirtle should fully evolve and get their Gigantamax forms for a twist, but that is just wishful thinking.

An exclusive Lucario could lead to/promote the infamous Sinnoh remakes. While it sounds desperate, it would be a great way to kick them off if they eventually happen.

Calling it now, galarian lucario (or just a gmax or very special form) or Acoustic (Meatus) form for toxtricity. Or maybe Beam Strike/Countering Strike style for urshifu which would be either psychic for beam or rock for countering (training in the mountains would make sense for both, urshifu reaches enlightenment and became a psychic type sensei like form, or it trains and becomes bulky and has a defensive look to it.)

I guess both riolu and dragonite might be his special pokemons.... I totally agree with your lucario theory but i believe Dragonite might also be a special one for Ash this year. Dragonite debut battle was with Korrinas Mega lucario(which has much more experience than dragonite) and still dragonite managed to win the battle.... so i guess there will b some bond phenomenon between ash and dragonite. Till now there isnt any evidence regarding mega evolution/Z move/Gigantamax for Dragonite(which we really wish to see). This series might bring something very special for dragonite. Thankyou❤️❤️❤️

I have something to tell you @ThePokéRaf about a new theory/prediction video you may do: Ash gets Kubfu? Isle of Armor arc - Pokémon Journeys: In my opinion I think Kubfu could be one of Ash's future catch and can be his first Legendary Pokémon as well! Here's why I think Ash should get Kubfu in Pokemon Journeys: Based on the story of the Isle of Armor DLC, Ash may go to the Isle of Armor to train harder for the World Coronation Series, where he meets Mustard (who sees great potential in Ash)! There, Ash could receive Kubfu from Mustard and entrust Ash to train the shy Pokémon Kubfu and making into a powerful Pokémon warrior! Kubfu will then evolves into Urshifu and join Ash's World Team! Ash is now a Pokémon Champion and he has caught himself a Ultra Beast and mythical Pokémon, being Nagandel and Melmetal, so Ash getting Kubfu and evolves into Urshifu as his first Legendary will be a good idea, especially to help him win the World Coronation Series against Leon! Plus if Ash does get Kubfu, it can get a close friendship with Riolu and I can see their relationship like Rowlet and Melmetal! I love to see that same relationship with Kubfu and Riolu! I think if it's more likely that Ash would form bond with Lucario. The first sign was he got to knew that something weird was to happen as he really got to sense the aura coming from riolu's egg. I wish Aura-burst Lucario or Ash-Lucario something like that comes on. I really want the bond phenomenon to return. For Greninja battle bond and for lucario aura bond. Does it look good Pokeraf?

I feel like aura burst Lucario is really unlikely. Giving Lucario 2 forms that coincide with each other with no apparent differences just makes it more confusing. It could definitely be a mega Lucario with a special ability, though.

He’s definitely going to get a mega lucario, pikachu can already gygantamax, I would love to see a toxtricity, but it is unlikely because the Pokémon company never wants to take any focus off of pikachu, on the topic of Urshifu, I don’t think it will get a third form from ash, since it is a dlc legendary only capable of evolution through reading a scroll, but I do like the idea of ash and Goh getting their own cubfus possibly from Mustard. I would love to see Ash get the water type form, and I think it suits him better then the dark type form. When it comes to Melmetal, the only argument I can see for it coming back is the fact that it didn’t get much time as a melmetal in the sun and moon anime, and even then, that argument is made completely invalid by Incinaroar who got little to no screen time post evolution. And now that the Alola episode has come out and Ash still hasn’t taken Melmetal back, I really don’t think it’s likely for it to come back. We could see Ash get a Grookey, but I think Goh will end up getting all three Galar starters under his care. Ash still has one slot left on his team, and if I’m being completely honest, if Cubfu doesn’t fill that slot, I want to see it exclusively taken up by previous Ash Pokémon. Like he can take Infernape on a journey one day, or Sceptile the next. He could finally reunite with Pidgeot or Primeape, Gible could evolve and eventually get to be that Garchomp we’ve always wanted ash to own. The possibilities are limitless

We all know Ash's Hoenn ace was his Max IVs Swellow though! I was thinking that maybe Ash and Go would get a Kubfu/Urshifu each maybe and get a different form to each other, but something like the Chao-Urshifu idea would be pretty sick. I think it's definitely down to Urshifu or Lucario getting something special.

I'm really excited about what will be Ash's signature Pokemon of Gellar.... But I think It will be Lucario... Not only He's my favorite pokemon of all time but also it's have some chances.... my opinion Lucario wants a new form... It can be Mixture of two forms Bond Evolution and Mega Evolution... Tbh, I was hoping that Ash and Go would each get a Toxel. But with Pikachu ánd Gengar, electric and poison, on his team, I doubt it. I doubt they'd add a 2nd fighting type too, so no Kubfu. As far as Lucario goes, me thinks it'll be more than mega evolution. I think it'll be the next Greninja. I also want to note though, Pikachu + Riolu + Ash; make for a really good trio. Who knows, maybe Riolu will stay Riolu; but trigger some kind of special evolution, like mega, where he goes back to Riolu after the battle. But I reaaaaaaally wanted Ash to get Toxtricity. :(

If you count Seaking, Buzzwole Pheromosa and Stakataka as captures even if they are temporary was still caught by Ash so technically 98 out of the 898 pokemon. I think either Ash will get Mega Lucario or Aura Burst Lucario. Urshifu which is either the single or rapid style strike that can Gigantamax and it would be Ash's first legendary capture. The sky's the limit

I don't know about special treatment but I think it will be Lucario because Riolu spends a lot of time outside of it's Pokeball.

I had a Though that if ash gets Kubfu it should evolve into Rapid strike because of what happened to Gerninja. the same thing would happen to Urshifu. but instead of unlocking a bond for it would be the the G-max . it would get its G-max by battling or training under a powerful G-max Pokemon. kinda like what Rockruff did. and that only ash got his Urshifu to G-max while Hop or Go doesn't. and then he has G-max Urshifu. sorry that its so long. and I would hate to see Urshifu get it by the max soup. that would be so lame.

Just imagine if ash bought back four of his special pokemon plus the special foe this season he would have a very strong team with 1. Pikachu 2. Lycanroc 3.Infernape 4.Sceptile 5. Greninja 6. Can either be Krookodile or Charizard or Riolu I would say that would be ash strongest team ever he would be able to be the champion of champion and win

Honestly though, even before we get into far the episodes of the league, its probably gonna take a year to reach there. And its a good sign that Ash will prolly have a G-Max Lucario at the end of this series because sinnoh remakes can be just straight ahead in one or two years time, like their usual releases of new pokemon games. Since gen3 coincide with gen 6 way back then, they also got megas for pokemon introduced in gen 3, which is why we got mega starters, absol, camerupt, sharpedo, metagross, altaria, salamence, gardevoir, etc. If sinnoh remakes will happen in the midst of the gen 8 timeline then I'm pretty sure it will include the gigantamax phenomenon as well, and i suppose thered be gigantamax gen 4 starters, staraptor, electivire, magmortar, luxray, garchomp and of course, the most popular sinnoh pokemon, lucario. These are all speculation but damn am i hyped to see sinnoh in sword shield graphics. Mt. Coronet would be so cool.

Great video Pokeraf I believe it could happen But also here’s my predictions for Ash’s Special Pokemon *Bulbasaur and Squirtle return and fully evolve into Venusaur and Blastoise and get GIGANTIMAX forms *YES! I still think he could get a third form Toxtricity *Latias *Melmetal and it’s GIGANTIMAX form *have some of his old Pokémon return like Rowlet, Snivy, Oshawott, Quilava and Gible and fully evolve into Decidueye, Serperior, Samurott Typhlosion and Garchomp * or he could capture some other special Pokémon like Zeraora, Zoroark, Blaziken, Empoleon and or Primarina What do U think Pokeraf
