At this point, even though I have tried to count, however-much I have watched this Magnificent, Beautiful, and Meaningful Masterpiece. Just yesterday actually, (Yes, in relation) I had been working on a PC.R. project while my laptop was connected to the television. Before the project, I watched . My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic . Season 6 Episode 16 . on the television from my computer to "reenact" a special moment when I was younger and recording the song I loved most in that episode. Now, as I had thought, (and hoped for) after watching This Very Masterpiece through the TV . . . Made Me Cry Happy Tears! Just as how "The Times They Are A Changeling" did when I was younger and still.

To this day, Discord is one of my favourite characters in all of fiction. I have fond memories of cosplaying him and reading fanfics featuring him. His development, fondness for Fluttershy, and absolutely amazing comedy and silliness he brought into the show will forever stay in my heart. And what happened to him in G5 comics is just heartbreaking. Let the chaos reign forever

I´m so glad Aurelleah returned, I really missed her all those years, it's strange because 5/6 years ago I was only a teenager who loved his music and knew the lyrics of all his music and sometimes participated in his arts live streams, and today I´m a father of two sons and this music was the first contact of one of them with she and he really liked (its hard try to write with he in my keyboard with he saying for me put that music again )

I'm sad that I missed the premiere, because this is a masterpiece! I love how the music progress along with the story, I love how you blend electronic with orchestral composition, it's something I love doing myself as well, and I love how everything works perfectly well together. A hybrid song like this is easy to mess up, but you managed to make each section shine. Nothing feels out of place. That drop is a total banger too. Great job! I'm excited to hear more from you. 💙

I cannot articulate how great this is, but I'll try. I love how you reference the keepers of discord, and interweve it as aintiant history. The music was quite diverse with 2 types of transition done masterfully, first the gradual, then the instantaneous base drop transition. And the complete story was faithful to the show emotionally...complete. ❤ it. Keep up the great work 👍.

Beginning bit is giving me some mild Aviators vibes. BTW I really feel like Discord's real origin and motives as a villain could've been explored more in the show. "God of Chaos" and "for his amusement/sustenance" were okay in the start. But seeing how he changed with Fluttershy's friendship, I think there's some deeper reason. Maybe he was first being silly to amuse other creatures, but they didn't care much about him beyond that. As he grew lonely, spiraled into depression and turned sour, he went mad. Bit like how Starlight was just a happy filly whose friend completely ignored her when he got his CM, or Tempest who was left out by the other children after her horn injury. I wonder if there are any fanfics or comics about that?

But then it shows discord and Fluttershy together again and she isn't monochrome so maybe that's another old frens' yellow feather? :D? Originally I wrote it to be a sort of bittersweet story to show the impact our actions can have on others, the importance of understanding, and a way we can try to cope with loss (focusing on keeping them alive in our hearts with the stories of their love, being glad it happened rather than sad it's over) -- but in the end it was too sad for me; especially after making the video with the slides. In the end I decided to leave it open-ended:) Thank you so much for your kind words, and I really do hope you enjoy it for many moons to come! ^^

Coincidentally I was working on anothsr song at the same time as this one, briefly, that used Frame of Mind as a reference track. I didn't end up finishing it cause it followed Frame of Mind so closely that I couldn't think of ways to make the drop unique without it sounding like a rip off or clone lmao

This is really good! I'm sad that we won't see the final version, but this still stands out on its own and gives a really good idea of what the final product would have been. What more did you want to add to it?

Well it was turned down for submission to ponies at dawn cause they took issue with the vocals being hard to understand so I wasn't able to add another take. They also felt it could do with changing out the sound design / synth for some of the sections (I think they didn't like the bell-like synth) and recommended I remove some of the white noise sweeps. That and then working out a less abrupt transition to the drop. I also wanted to improve the automation of the vibrato and dynamics of the strings and other orchestral instruments But in the end I'm happy with it :) it's also performing almost as well as Midnight Lament did (a little less, maybe halfway between midnight lament and on wings of moonlight) so it looks like everyone else is happy with it too :D Tbh I love it just the way it is, quirks and all. Maybe it's not perfect for that compilation album but it's such a good re-entry into pony music again ^^

I got acquainted with creativity relatively recently (almost 2 years have passed since then) and, suddenly seeing that a stream is being planned after 3 years of inactivity, I somehow... It excited me! But because it's just started the morning here, and I haven't even gone to bed, I don't think I'll be able to get on the stream somehow (unfortunately!) And I'll just hope that everything goes great and even better! *Only then did I review everything and realized that my comment was absolutely disgusting and meaningless! Starting with the fact that this is not a stream, but a premiere, and ending with the fact that it will generally be closer to night! I am very sorry for this comment...*

Very nice instrumental and very emotional melody as well as text, very great! Thank you for sharing this and featuring so many talented artists, too!^^ May I ask who the singer is? Some parts of the vocals sounded very muffled/hard to understand and almost gave AI generated vibes. Not to sound harsh of course, just curious. Thank you!

I sang everything, I'm strongly against the use of generative AI -- Unfortunately I have wear on my front teeth that make enunciating difficult; I'm working on improving with lessons to work around this so hopefully I can resolve the issue in the future c: I'm glad you enjoyed it tho!
