We have a Toyota Auris, awesome car, we had so much fun moments, very efficient, and with the power function on, which turns on the Electric engine AND the combustible engine on full torque makes it so fun to accelerate, the face of that mercedes next to you is priceless, only minor detail: The tires make quite a lot of noise when driving over 50mph.
Thanks for the ride... short but cool. It should be a comfy car. In Canada, just Corolla hatchback with cvt or 6 speed. No hybrid. Remembered me my Prius C. Under 50 km/h, total silence. Hi everyone, anyone knows how many miles to the full tank from this auris hybrid? cos our 1.8 auris hybrid returns 240 miles to the full tank of petrol
Around 900 kilometres driving slowly on the autobahn with avg consumption around 4.6 - 4.8 l/100km. Economical driving on the secondary roads returns 4.4 l/100km. Driving it like a normal car 5 l/100km. Driving like a 20 year old would 6 l/100km.
@@liviumititelu7397 yes, 2016 Auris uses 3rd gen prius power train but much better suspension with sportier ride. Avoid 2010-2012 hybrid. Get 2013 or newer, 2016 have toyota safety sense with collision mitigation. You can take 2019 corolla with 4th gen Prius tech. the perfecting 3rd gen. Some problems like clogging EGR on 3rd gen after 150k miles had been solved by moving the EGR intake after catalytic converter. Less unburned fuel passing cat. Better battery designs, transmission, engines, inverter, and colling/warming systems. Although 3rd gen is really good too, especially after revised head gasket in 2013 or newer. Just be mind with the price for newer corolla. But 2016 has much nicer interior, dashboards, and options than 2013-2015. If you keep it in garage or mild weather, the battery easily last 15 years. New HYBRID battery replacement cost only 2350 new from toyota but you have 10years unlimited miles warranty anyway. Nothing to worry with any toyota hybrid. They are proven technology.

I talk about 150k miles and beyond. 2010-2011 engines are prone to head gasket issue started with oil consumption, followed by clogged EGR valve, head gasket, and catalytic converter failure. However, typically the mileage is above 200k miles. So, as long as the oil consumption is not too bad
@@esraamini3611 They have the same feature and uses the same engine. And probably the same chassis. Only difference was Auris was a smaller version and exclusively sold on Europe. Now they are identical so one of them is redundant.
