She literally is the real life Elsa. I mean look at her; same hair color, same eye color, same lip color, same skin color, she is 24 too, she is from Norway too and she is even singing the same song..OMG
This version of Into the Unknown sound amazingly Norwegian. I absolutely love Norwegian traditional music and you can feel the soul of that music in this song.
The original version is too grating and obvious and honestly....obnoxious for me. It's got that usual _"outta the way everyone! I'm about to SIIIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!! LALALALALAAAAAA!!!!!!"_ over the top hyper extroverted "look at me" energy and vibe. That's fine....I suppose. To each their own. :P But this version....it's gorgeous. Subtle and nuanced....but with this spine tingling understated epic energy running beneath everything. The part that really gets me....that melts my soul....is around 2:37 where her voice gliiiides into the note with that rising "eeeeeh" sound. That's such a small thing.....but is hugely emotionally cathartic to me for some reason.
Norwegian traditional music I must hear it as even the sound it's beautiful and I like it better when it doesnt have any actual words but I think it's called... vocals... hehe I like them I like the way it sounds especially when I sit with my legs crossed and use my thinking had palm stones that I rub with my thumbs it really helps I find it kinda strange but it helps in many ways grrr the chickys voices are really nice to hear
I think Aurora is a real life fairy or elf for sure. She's so mystical and sweet. I love watching her perform! It's kinda like she's said in interviews when she sings, something comes down from heaven and puts it into her body and she's just the instrument for it. She's very heavenly sounding for sure.
Your comment brought an otherwise obscure part of her personality and felt like I had also imagined it so even though I realised it after reading your comment
I like both but prefer Aurora's voice. Also in my personal opinion this one makes more sense for the movie as it was late at night & this one is calmer & more soothing. The other would have woken everyone up.
Wow, great video!! I'm obsessed with Aurora's "Into the unknown" version. Btw, I didn't know Aurora's performance into Scarborough Fair (Official Music Video), good discover hahaha
I can hear you but I won't Some look for trouble while others don't There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day And ignore your whispers Which I wish would go away, oh-oh-oh Oh-oh Oh-oh Oh-oh You're not a voice You're just a ringing in my ear And if I heard you, which I don't I'm spoken for, I fear Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls I'm sorry, secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls I've had my adventure, I don't need something new I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you Into the unknown Into the unknown Into the unknown Oh-oh Oh-oh, oh, oh What do you want? 'Cause you've been keeping me awake Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake? Or are you someone out there who's a little bit like me? Who knows deep down I'm not where I'm meant to be? Every day's a little harder as I feel my power grow Don't you know there's part of me that longs to go Into the unknown? Into the unknown Into the unknown Ah-ah, oh-oh Ah-ah, oh-oh Oh-oh-oh Are you out there? Can you feel me? Can you show me? Oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh Into the unknown Into the unknown Into the unknown Into the unknown
I love her camera person, editor, mixer, DJ, music producer, concept artist, background, etc without them she isn't complete, she is just a part, much love and respect to them too. ✨
It was in Brazil! Filmed on the Globo Studios for their soap opera "Deus Salve o Rei" (God Save the King), the song in the original video is the opening theme of it, that counts with a medieval background storyline.
Her version is soft.. no sudden beats! Perfect for me tbh. I love this more than the original!! So beautiful!! The music makes me feel a really strong feeling.. i wanna say alot that i don't know what to say..! ✨
I've felt SO NUMB for so long now. Just emotionally.....dissociated and just living to live. The magic I used to feel....where I realized everything is everything....has just been gone, for a few years now. It hurts. But....the small moment right at 1:21 REALLY hit me in a pretty deep way just now. I've seen this video many times, but it really connected tonight. Aurora's voice plus the visual imagery at that part....for a brief moment I felt a flutter of tingles up my spine and a feeling of actual hope. It didn't last long. But I need this feeling in my life again......so badly.
In the end, it's up to us to keep hope alive. It's really our job and ours alone. She has said herself that there are days we find it impossible to feel any worth. But just surviving each day is being a successful human. Maybe that's how we simply keep this hope alive.
I was a fan of the "power" versions of this song and always stupidly resisted listening to this one until a couple days ago when, out of sheer boredom, I let this play through and really listened to it and all I can say is: I'm 70 years old and still a damn fool, so self-obsessed and such a skeptic...and all to my own harm. This was beautiful and mythic and...pleasing. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks, as long as the old dog has RU-vid, then anything's possible.
She kinda sorta is to an extent. Although I would argue Aurora has a lot more potential to reach a broader audience with a broader more diverse overall sound. Enya, as great as she is, is very specific and focused compared to the expansiveness of Aurora's output. But also....did you know Aurora lists Enya as one of the 3 artists who first inspired her most? Early in her life, her family didn't have a radio or tv....they just had a record player, with albums by 3 artists: Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Enya. And those 3 became her initial muses. :) Now that I think about it....I would LOVE to see Aurora cover an Enya song. She's covered both Cohen and Dylan, but not Enya yet. Aurora has said her favorite Enya song of all time is "Ebudae." So that would make for a cool cover. :)
I remember watching frozen with my Baby nephew. In the background the ooo’s made me cry so hard. He was looking at me like “tf is wrong with you” ? Her voice moved me too tears even if at that time she didn’t sing the whole song! Glad to have a full version of just her!
can't believe it took me soooo long to discover this masterpiece 🥺😞 such an angelic voice deserves a lot more accolades than it already has. The song sounds more like worship lullaby 😇❤
WoW, this is actually very well done. Aurora's version is much more creative and mature. She is such an important song writer/story teller. If you havnt heard alot of her music please check her out. Her live stuff is the best. Infections, daydreamer, animal soul, soft univers, churchyard, black water lillies, a Different kind of human, soulless creatures, the seed, it happened quiet...ALL of her "BABIES" are simply perfect works of art. Adore her. 🥰
First time seeing this version, and as always, I was captivated by it all. Aurora has been a blessing in my life and provides so much hope for all of us.❤
Beautifully done. Honestly, this woman is an absolute God to mother Earth an angel and you did a very awesome job of gathering what you could two show her beauty 10 stars my friend lol :-)
Her into the unknown is soo peaceful its like I am really in heaven I dont hate British or English song but sometimes if u heard it using earphones it sometimes hurts ur ears or it sometimes feels like music is shouting in ur ear (in high notes) but her voice is soo peaceful if feels like I can sleep peacefully by listening her 😊
