If I was going to do just one trek in the high mountains of Peru, it would be this one (and I have done a bunch). Besides being absolutely stunning, it is significantly easier than the likes of Huayhuash and Alpamayo and I'd say its even easier than the Santa Cruz (tho a bit longer).
