his playmaking has been so good lately you add that and he is already a good 3 point shooter and a good perimeter defender he is a very high quality role player
@@Chris-lu4vm Im sure he could handle the pressure as he's shown he's never afraid to step up in big moments but I don't know about 20 and 10. Maybe 20ppg but 10 assists is a big step.
I'm sorry but Austin Reeves makes you totally forget that Caruso was ever in Laker Nation. Some may not agree, but Reeves is far more intelligent with the ball in terms of manipulating the defense to get more bang for your buck. And I dare say,the kid is clutch. Thanks for posting 👍
I wish those two are at the laker at the same time. Those Two spark plug would make Lakers energy higher than than three Burj Khalifa combined at all time 😂
Austin is very smart player. He isn't athletic like other players but because he has high IQ, he uses it as his weapon. That's why he got my attention last year during his rookie days.I saw him slow but accurate and made me ask myself why he manage to defend guards who are faster than him but I already know that thing now.He is a kind of sly person that if you sleep on him you'll be fooled.I'm always a fan of a 2 way kind of player that's why I'm his huge fan since he started.Above all he is very humble player☺️😍no ego, not chasing stats just play basketball and do whatever good for the team😊.As a huge fan of him, I'm so proud❤️.
Dopest white boy in the game right now hands down.average in every way but brings that pressure at all times steady a threat and gets his , especially how he did tonight. I salute
Love AR's game. He's engaged on both sides of the court. You know who else is underrated? You bro. Love your break down and the way you present it. Keep up the good work!
He has learned quite a bit from Pat Bev. Pat also lacks athleticism but makes up for it in hustle and attitude. Austin has been getting that chip on his shoulder as a defender and it shows. Teams used to switch to get Austin onto them for a 1on1. NOW, they’re trying to switch OFF of him to someone else.
If he keeps improving i can see him being a good second option player later in his career cuz he has some tough shots in his bag already and good bounce
imma say my boi AReaves is an all star!! been saying it since the start of the season when he was unnoticed but the man has been playing with so much energy and tenacity. he always brings the spark and with some more sharpening, imma say he’s for sure gonna be an all star in the future. gonna call it right now 🥵🥵🥵 maybe even an MVP in the future, his handles and moves are underrated
Hey I've been telling people this guy is Real.. Austin Reeves game is a Revelation of fundamentals that's a pleasure to watch.. You can build a championship team with his style of play so don't trade this guy .. will be a All 🌟 Star one day ..
He is a very important part of this lakers team, and reminds me Caruso, less defensive more offensive. One amazing part of his game is how he regularly sparks the lakers offense, and can change the momentum of a game.
Reeves reminds me of a young Ainge or Hornacek. The quintessential "everything else" guy. Not flashy. Not uber-athletic. A high IQ, nuts and bolts player who fuses the gifts of other players into a harmonious team.
I hope the Lakers dont use him as a trade bait. Its these kinda of players the Lakers normally trade. He remainds me of a Trevor Ariza type of player. His nickname should be Rambo. He dont look like much but man his a killer.
He plays very well without the basketball. He gets yelled at by Lebron and Westbrook for blowing plays. Some NBA players may not be flashy but they just win. In the last five games he is being paired with Brown in the backcourt they play well together.
From undrafted to unstoppable.. I don’t know how anyone can call a 6’6” player who defends NBA PG average athletically… maybe sneaky athlete is more like it
I love Austin but he is definitely not our best perimeter defender anymore, it’s Vanderbilt now and it’s not even close, but Vando is literally one of the best if not the best perimeter defender in the league so that’s ok Austin is still very good
there are 2 type of great defenders ...great individual defenders - just badasses that can lock you down ...and great defenders that play within the framework of the team defense (aka ..smart defenders that hustle their ass off). Austin is the latter. Edit - not saying he's a "great defender" ...he's good. Needs to get a little stronger.
