I live in San Antonio and I watch these types of videos to see what people say about it. It is always interesting. The Missions are beautiful to me for the architecture. Most of them also have active congregations which some people don't realize. The history of the relationship of the native peoples and the Spanish Missionaries is often discussed. But you said in this video that they tried to make the Natives into Spaniards, that is what I believe. They believed that you had to accept their religion in order to be saved. They did teach a different way of farming and living to them as well. You went to Mission San Jose, probably the most updated mission besides the Alamo. You also went to Mission Conception which is the least updated and my personal favorite. The other missions are somewhere in the middle of those as far as being updated. There are plans in place to redo the whole area around the Alamo. Hopefully they will stop arguing and get it done in a couple of years. To me it is a major disappointment as it is now. I do find it very interesting what people want to see when they come. Austin was your main focus and San Antonio was a side note but your video was an interesting perspective non the less. peace, y'all
