Beautiful home. I just bought in Liberty Hill also with Conventry, more of a 'beginner' home but still pretty nice. BUT i've always liked Perry. They were out of my budget this time around but when I want to upgrade in a few years it'll most likely be a Perry. Thanks for the Tour. And yes i'll need the contact for the epoxy floor company also. I'm surprised it it as much of a 'add-value' item as it is.

@@SoominKimRE yes. The things I know now that I didn't know when I was getting my house built. There are a few things I would have done differently. Do you know a carpenter/handyman? I need some work done in my theater room.

Yes the floors came out well, I was told it was approx. $3k for the garage and his front porch entry.

So many people in San Antonio are having structural and foundation problems with their Perry Homes. Cracked walls, floors, water coming up from underground and covering it up with piles of rocks. Exploding self clean ovens, garages catching fire, etc..

Sounds like a Mrs. Doubtfire movie set..... I can't speak for San Antonio, but my experience with their build quality in Austin has been above par from the others.

approx. $40-$45k, unlike many builders Perry Homes don't have as much need to upgrade as their base are raised well for what they offer.

Bought a Perry Homes 8 months ago. Their warranty service is terrible. Yes two years warranty service sounds “great”, but they’re unresponsive and your issues go unresolved. High turnover rate of construction managers. New and inexperienced people coming in to manage your home every 6 months. Have had monthly issues since closed. Hire a third party inspector because they will cut corners! The quality of your home really depends on management in the area/neighborhood. Will personally not recommend Perry Homes.

oh no. Where did you purchase yours? Also I do agree that the team at a certain community can generate a different level of experience. Sometimes you get varsity, some communities may have their JV squad.

I want to be careful with blanket statements, as I have served MANY Texas Natives that have upgraded their homes and life with the appreciation of their home. This concern is not unique to Texas, this happened in most recently California, Washington , etc.

This was contracted prior to some increases... this one closed at approx. $650k , now I would say closer to $750k.

One thing I really like about Perry Homes is the high ceiling even for single story home. I did contact them to ask about available floor plans to build and they said they would be releasing only inventory homes this year, which means everything would be pre-selected. Not sure if that means buyers won’t have a chance to go to their design center or do any upgrade? This is really a deal breaker to me..

depending on where they are at in the stage for inventory homes you can still go to the design center and select finishes. inventory homes means they just release homes with preselect finishes and you can pick your finishes after you sign the contract. I went with Perry and that was how my process went at least.

@@JohnNguyen-eg9cv I talked to one of the sales guy and he was like “no change, everything is pre selected, pricing won’t be available until close to completion..”. They will have lots available to build, but in the next few months, and they can increase the price by that time. Btw was your experience with Perry Homes good (building process, post move)?

@@Nanaa1212 oh wow - that was definitely not my process at all. Maybe their procedure changed due to supply/demand. I would definitely connect with Soomin or whoever you go with so they can provide you more accurate info. So far my experience with Perry has been good. I'm still in the building stage and they keep me up to date. If there are changes that I want and they can do that doesn't affect structural such as changing the type of door or cosmetic finishes, then they will accommodate. As mention before, I purchased an inventory home where they already pour the slab and did framing and had a design team select pre-finishes. Once I signed the contract, I was able to go to the design center and basically change anything I wanted cosmetic wise such as different floors, backsplash, color of cabinets, fixtures, etc. Obviously I wasn't able to do anything structural such as extend garage or anything like that. Hope this helps.
