As someone that has lived in both Austin and Dallas. I would say Austin for those 35 and below and Dallas for 36 and above. Austin has more things to do for the under 35, but once you get married and have kids, DFW is better. Way more cities to live in and more suburbs to choose from. And way better school districts. Although Eanes ISD (Westlake) near Austin is great, the DFW area has more really great school districts to choose from.
I enjoyed your video! I had a hard time deciding which city i was going to relocate to 3 years ago. Both Austin and Dallas have great food, entertainment and job opportunities but i eventually settled in Dallas for the affordability of housing.
@@aimxdy8680 im actually looking to relocate to Austin for work. I am in FinTech and its a hot industry in Austin, just gotta find affordable housing now 😕
I definitely love your details on both cities…my oldest Son is considering Austin or Round Rock once he retires from the military. But I would like to move to Texas sometimes next year.
I enjoyed your descriptions of what the cities of Austin and Dallas have to offer. I’ve been a resident of the Austin area for more than 14 year. Also liked and subscribed.
Your video was help we baddly needed. Trying to figure out where to live was tough. After watching your Liberty hill video. We definitely bought in Thousand oaks private community off the private airport.
Hello your videos are very helpful. Can you give me your advice on cedar hill vs. Duncanville? Wich one is better your pros and cons will be appreciated. I planing on moving to Dallas this summer. Thank you.
Dallas is more traditional southern swanky, while Austin is modern alternative swanky lol. Both similar in a lot of ways, but Austin is better for me because of the scenery and culture.
I'm in The Woodlands Texas area and I'm considering Dallas or Austin. It's so hard! I am thinking about just staying in The Woodlands. I know the area well... and its always difficult learning a whole new city. What are your thoughts about The Woodlands Texas area? are there areas like The Woodlands in Austin?
I actually have friends that live in The Woodlands. They love it and I love visiting, lol. Austin has many areas that are similar but none quite like The Woodlands.
Thanks for your question! Between Austin and Dallas, Austin offers a vibrant student culture and diverse part-time job opportunities, but has recently seen higher living costs. Dallas has a varied economy with many part-time jobs and generally more affordable rent. Both cities have unique benefits, so your choice would depend on your specific needs and preferences. For tailored advice, consider reaching out to your university's student services.
Fort Worth really does have a lot going for it! It's amazing to see how the city has managed to grow while still maintaining a relatively low crime rate. Thanks for sharing those stats!
Houston is definitely a much much larger city than Austin and Dallas. The home prices are also more affordable than Austin that's for sure. Each city has its own culture and flair and it depends on what you're looking for.
You have NO clue what you are speaking of. You are trying to compare Austin to the Dallas metropolitan area. Houston versus Dallas is a more fair comparison, in which Houston pulls far ahead in almost every category. Born and bred Texan.
You do know that whole keep Austin weird thing came from portland.. .. and you do know it’s more ppl from portland that’s moving to Austin. Cause Austin is like a baby portland…. It’s just like portland. And you can’t compare Austin to Dallas. We vibe way different out here in Dallas.. and hell naw Austin isn’t the music capital…that all Vegas bby.. the entertainment capital. Come on now.. not hating on you. Just simply putting..
@@benjammin775 get the fuck out of here with that… portland been using keep portland weird since forever.. the original Slogan was keep portland white. And then they change it to keep portland weird…..
@@edmartinez6946 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you a damn lie… portland been using that slogan… it was first called keep portland white. Back doing the slavery days.. and when portland decide to except black that’s when they change it to keep portland weird.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nice try…
