Quitting or resigning from a public position should NOT disqualify someone from PROSECUTION. They should be brought before the courts and, if found guilty of corruption, lose their pension and be punished to the FULL extent of the law.
Especially when the next job that the exiting public servant is with organization which received the benefits of the corrupt activities of the public official in the former role
I want to believe NACC staff will be true to the Australian public but with corruption so deeply ingrained at all levels of public service I have my doubts.

I believe Nicola Spurrier’s name could be put forward. In late 2020, before we were mandated out of education, concerned teachers were able to ask her questions about the vaccines. One pregnant teacher said she was hesitant about getting vaccinated for obvious reasons. Nicola insisted it would be beneficial for the unborn child so they also would be protected against Covid. Surely by then (approximately 10 months into the pandemic) Nicola would have seen some statistics about how deadly it often is (87% stillbirth rate after vaccination?) to the unborn child. I believe she is directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of babies. If she didn’t know, ignorance is no excuse- it was her job to know.

It is clear, based on the evidence as of February 2021, that Spurrier was negligent in that the evidence was clear, as provided by the Manufacturers that the studies provided were extremely inadequate and incorrectly applied to the point of being fraudulent. ( now proven) Spurrier and all of her ilk, in this Country, were in " lockstep" as to the strategy of the Countermeasure product, " hesitancy ' was the principal driver of most statements made by the " experts" as " hesitancy " was a problem of not meeting the contracted targets, as set out by Government, which due to their contractual obligations " own" the Countermeasure. Spurrier was a mouthpiece and an autonomic drone, of the " Big picture " spectre, not having the competence of duty of care , but the preservation of position and not having the integrity self respect. This is a disaster, where individuals are not required to show cause for their actions, or take responsibility for them, myself Spurrier is a small fish, in a very big pond, and the Tyranny of organisations such as the TGA and APHRA and the hierarchies need to be grilled, beyond the scope of Parliamentary Committees, where " taking on notice" is not the out clause, and the merry-go-round of obfuscation, continues, despite the best efforts of people of substance, asking the questions.

Didn’t lockdown here at all . Actually worked longer hours because of staff sickness. I got Covid but had to work through but with masks. I had already caught it at the supermarket then transmitted it before I realised I had it.

If you’re a public servant it’s the end of your career is finished. The establishment will crucify anyone who raises any concern and raises it. One must be prepared to loose everything to prove your concerns.
You only have to speak up and point out flaws in an ordinary job to be targeted and "made redundant", Often part of the description of the job you apply for is to identify weak spots and set up systems to counter them. Then when you do it's "oh we've always done it that way". My experience has almost always been that people that rock the boat and call out that the emperor has no clothes are marked and in time will find themselves moved on and/or moved out. I think whistleblowers are incredibly brave and have a robust moral compass and should be rewarded, not scapegoated. For the record, I never learned, my conscience wouldn't let me.

Something needing to be investigating is these scamera fines companies like Fines Victoria, a private company with an ABN, keeping half the fines it collects, and in the process made its owner the 8th wealthiest person in Australia. There must be no outsourcing or subcontracting fines for collection, that is the sole province of the government. Very little of fines money goes back to improving roads. but a lot goes to making certain individuals wealthy by violating the laws passed by Parliament to protect the motoring public.

Had an incident ten years ago with an officer working for Ausgrid. He went against advice from an earlier officer and determined that energy infrastructure needed to be upgraded in order for him to approve a rural subdivision. This was a surprise as the other officer said we didn’t need it. A few weeks later he left Ausgrid and started his own private business supplying upgrades to infrastructure. He even showed up quoting for my upgrade. Needless to say this seemed like a conflict of interest so I complained to the ministers and had his decision overturned. Public private partnerships can be a conflict of interest. The ministers and the local council were very quick to provide a solution the next day as this occurred only a few weeks prior to the sale of Energy Australia. I’ve never seen ministers act so quickly.

I think that to fix this, we need to demand that politicians can no longer accept legal bribes (AKA political donations) ... until this is fixed, we cannot fix anything else. It's simple, everyone on the voting register gets 100 bucks, that goes to the actual politician they vote for. If you're popular, you'll get more money.

The constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia is invalid because it was allegedly signed by Queen Victoria and brought into effect by parliament in 1901, but Australia became an independent nation on Oct 1 1919 when it signed the Treaty of Versailles, after which the UK recognised Australia as The Commonwealth of Australia, not the Dominion of Australia. John, I do hope your implied faith in the NACC, is well placed. This Labor government maybe better than the last but I have my doubts. The funding of NACC is where the effectiveness may break down. The lack of public hearings is a major reduction of the NACCs effectiveness.
The high number of rejections is deeply worrying, Expecting lay people to identify the specific crime and link it to relevant legislation is unreasonable - this is something that typically investigators do! People know corruption when they see it. The rejections mean that many will get away with their crimes because they won't be investigated.
