That’s awesome! They’re a great beetle to raise. If you’re in the US, there’s several online sellers such as David’s beetles or jamjamexotic. If UK, there’s Richard’s inverts. The hardest part is probably getting them but if they arrive safe and healthy, then we’re good to go! Make sure there’s food (beetle jelly/fruit) in the cage, occasionally spritz water so it’s not dry, and keep them around 68-74 Fahrenheit. Those are the bare-bone basics so be sure to also check out some guides online. Wish you and your son the best!

They're normally like the ones in the thumbnail (Green with the streaks of red) but selective breeding has produced solid blue, purple, red, and green ones. They all have that amazing sheen!

Yup, that's pretty normal, these beetles are naturally elusive in the wild and will hide. Have they begun eating yet? If so, then they're ready to mate but if not then should be soon!

I have them about 2 week and im worry so much

If it’s two weeks after emerging as an adult then it’s perfectly normal! Give them a little bit more time and they’ll start eating soon :)

@@genkakuyume9655 Ayyy that's great to hear! I wish the best for breeding :D If there's ever too many of those little white mites on their body then you can give a quick rinse under water but you should be fine.
