I know i am late as fuck with this but yes there is. All the sugar mills still use steam because by using steam they can burn cane in the train and make the factories 95% self sufficient. I know because i went on one of these this monday haha!
Really Awesome! Is there any steam running in Cuba now? I'm going to Florida Tomorrow and with Cuba only 90miles away I am real tempted to go see for myself.

I suggest you subscribe to the yahoo group groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/cubanrailways/ and ask them. They keep up to date with the survival of the sugar mill steam locos. Overall, it's a depressing picture with a few locos available for charter only, I believe.
