Charleston is beautiful. We’ve also visited the angel tree and Magnolia Plantation. Considering the fact we’ve owned a garden center for 35 years, you can imagine how we loved that plantation. 2 hrs south is another beautiful city very similar in historic homes and churches, history, hauntings, horse drawn carriages and cobble stone roads, Savannah, Georgia. Hush puppies the food is delish, hush puppy the shoe, not so much.
I Absolutely Love Charleston ❤ and the history and food. You will never see a high rise building there they have a law no building can be higher than the Churches 😊❤
Live oak tree or Southern Live oak (something something virginiana) does not just grow there. I'm in Texas with one across the street & limbs dipping low in later years. The pink flower are Azaleas. They are pretty. Hush Puppies are shoes here too. Unless you are eating. Charleston is a very nice place. New Orleans for a wilder scene. But Charleston suits me better.
