I am from Austria but live in London. I am so happy you tried all my favourite foods. I will be making Kaiserschmarrn for my grandson on Sunday. I agree with you. The Sachertorte is a bit dry, but I still enjoy it.
Looks amazing guys! 😍 We were in Vienna in February this year and had the kasekrainer (Bitzinger) and wiener schnitzel (Cafe Central). The food and beer in Vienna really blew us away! We weren't expecting it to be that good!
@@OneWayTicketAliHolly Hi Austrian here - you mentioned that there "is nothing else then vinegar, salt and oil" in it - that's actually not true - secret ingrediants are beef broth, taragon mustard and red onions (onions not so secret, as they should be visible)
Funny that you said that in your video but as a local, I find the original Sacher Torte dry too. Maybe try it next time at a different patisserie or coffee shop.
I’ve never had Austrian food!! Omg, the food in this looks so good!!! Makes me so hungry, great work on the food tour. Definitely staying tuned, I just uploaded a food tour in my channel too!
@@OneWayTicketAliHolly They were probably invented by monks who were not allowed to eat meat on Fridays and during Lent. Therefore, they hid the meat in pasta dough! 🤣
Kaiserschmarrn is not pancakes! and nobody would eat that for breakfast. And Sachertorte is famous everywhere but within Austrians. We prefer other cakes.
