I hope i am mentioning everyone! And i hope nobody feels annoyed at me tagging everyone but i just want to recommend all the channels!
‪@imautisticnowwhat‬ ‪@i.am.mindblind‬ ‪@TorenWolf‬ ‪@ChrisandDebby‬ ‪@DanaAndersen‬ ‪@disabled.autistic.lesbian‬ ‪@morgaanfoley‬ ‪@MomontheSpectrum‬ ‪@TheNeurocuriosityClub‬ ‪@ProudlyAutistic‬ ‪@orionkelly‬ ‪@autismfromtheInside‬ ‪@hayley.honeyman‬ ‪@HowtoADHD‬ ‪@fosteronthespectrum‬ ‪@faerysoul‬ ‪@TheMusingsOfMyAuDHDBrain‬ ‪@paunesjourney‬ ‪@YoSamdySam‬‪@PurpleElla‬ ‪@therachelisticchannel‬ ‪@Adrian-555‬ ‪@adamjames6010‬ ‪@Ember_Green‬
Forgot to mention autism advocate ‪@Kaelynnism‬, ‪@elenacarr0ll‬ from new Zealand and ‪@ADHD_love‬ with funny sketches about adhd! I also forgot the vlog ‪@Sensory0verlord‬!
Since this video i have also seen ‪@theo_tri3s‬ shorts which are really funny!
I also recommend Courtneymermaid with really good videos, however don't want to promote her in the video because i don't think she would be comfortable with that.

Omg same I always see the expression literally in my head 😂 the worst one for me is ‘killing two birds with one stone’. It sounds so horrible to me that I hate it when people use it and I don’t use it myself because it makes me feel like I’m supporting animal cruelty 😅

Hey Ingrid, your new cut is lovely and perfect on you. I'm a child of a hairdresser so I have opinions on these matters. ☺ Thank you for sharing these folks and their channels with us. I'm only familiar with a couple of them. If you're not already familiar I recommend a channel called Autism's Individual. Her name is Anna and she does a lot of book reviews among other things, though I recommend starting with her earliest videos. All the best as ever. -Carm

I agree discord is way overwhelming. I’ve watched a few videos on how to use it, but I still don’t get it. Thanks for responding to my comment a few videos ago. Your hair looks great. I’m a male so I can get away with buzzing my own hair. Because I can’t stand setting up appointments. Before I begin buzzing it short, I would just grow it out longer. But in school I was picked on a few times, kids asking “ are you a boy or girl” not actually asking but trying to make fun. Until I started confronting them. They left me alone after they realized I wasn’t going to entertain them and their “jokes”. I hope you’re doing ok. I watched your last video. I’m really bad at knowing what to say to people. Obviously nothing I can say will fix your problems. But I want to offer help. But you weren’t really asking for help. Just stating your worry’s / difficulties. What should someone say to that. I see you and hear you? I’m afraid all say the wrong things and make it worse. And it’s actually really hard without knowing exactly what you’re going through. I will probably end up just projecting my own thoughts onto you. I could ask a bunch of questions to better understand, but that could also be triggering to some people. Hope your week is going better. ❤️

@@brandoniron44 thank you 😊 yes often i make videos just to vent and not expecting any particular response. You don't need to worry about commenting or not, i mostly make them for myself as a journal entry record or to help others who might have similar issues feel less alone. I'm not looking for any particular comfort or reassuring comments, even though they are appreciated if/when they come.

if you don't have enough to watch already, there's also Rick has ADHD who's quite funny, and I'm not subbed but I've seen Paige Layle (hope I spelled right!) a few times, she's seems nice and funny too! Also +1 for the new hair ;)

Thank you for sharing these channels 😄. Did you get diagnosed privately or through public healthcare? I recently did a screening which indicated autism for me. However, the psychologist thought I functioned too well to send me to an assessment because I have a job, an education, friends and a partner. I looked into private assessment but they all seem quite expensive and I'm not sure it is worth it for me to spend 30k kr for it
@radishraven9
@radishraven9 6 дней назад
@@FLYkargo hi i did it through the public healthcare and it took about a year. Since the waiting lists in my region were more than 2 years, they told me i could ask after 3 months wait to be sent to a private place they had a contract with so the region paid. If you are in sweden it is called "vårdgarantin" that means you are allowed to complain if you have waited more than 3 months for a visit. The private place i was sent to was called Funka Psykologi (formerly Cereb). I got a diagnosis despite job, education and friends because i had been burnt out and problems in taking care of life things at home. To get a diagnosis you need "funktionsnedsättningar" so deficits in several areas of life. So for me it was work (burnout), social (few friends), home life (chores). I had no deficits in terms of schooling and have quite mild deficits in other areas, but they still count enough to be disabling.

I stopped watching Meg’s content (from the “I’m Autistic Now What?” channel) awhile back. She generally provides good information, but I got really sick of her constantly promoting Kaelynn Partlow’s content (Partlow is an ABA practitioner and all-around compliant token). Also stopped watching Mom on the Spectrum when she started fangirling out over sitting on a panel with Temple Grandin (who has a laundry list of toxic beliefs, including being pro-ABA, pro-eugenics and anti-vax).

@radishraven9 6 дней назад
@@GhostIntoTheFog oh i didn't know that about kaelynn. I did know that Temple Grandin has quite old fashioned ideas. I don't think Meg talks much about kaelynn, but mom on the spectrum did gush a lot about meeting Temple Grandin. Thanks for the information!
@paunesjourney
@paunesjourney 6 дней назад
Personally I won’t stop watching Meg and Mom on the Spectrum because I know they don’t support or promote these ideologies/beliefs and they make good content but I did unsubscribe from Kaelynn’s channel, even though I never heard her talk about ABA therapy in her videos, because I’m not comfortable following someone who actively works in ABA…
