Hey guys, this is just a video detailing my personal experience back when i started my first job, that job was in retail and it sucked. This video isn't really much, it's basically just a small rant because i wanted to get it off my mind. This is also my first ever video on my new channel. So yeah, if you liked the video let me know in the comments and thank you for watching and listening 😊!

I’m gonna binge watch your videos because if it’s any consolation... your videos are really helping me a lot. I love the way you’re just yourself and don’t care if you cuss and you just tell it like it is... you talk how I talk. I’m actually an undiagnosed Aspie. Me & my mom, other family members, teachers, and counselors have always suspected that I have Asperger’s since I was a young young child... and I even paid for a test online that confirmed it, along with the obvious things I do that I know are just particular and different from most. I also think so because my mom had seizures as a child into her late teen years which can be a cause of it... and I also didn’t talk until I was 4... and there’s just many many things. I want to get a therapist soon and discuss all these things (along with my mental health issues) But anyway, not the point. I was gonna say; I worked at a place called ‘The Family Dollar’ and I also worked at a gas station called ‘Shell’ and they were both horrific experiences.... in both instances, I had people ask me if I don’t know how to count or they would always rush me... and I’m literally so terrible with numbers... so I just felt like a failure. Also, I felt the exact same way about my managers as you did.... at both places it literally felt like they were breathing down my neck and I’m convinced this old lady manager of mine thought I was stealing... and it was just really offensive and uncomfortable.. Also I wanna mention something that really sticks out to me... the fact that you said you weren’t allowed to talk and your managers would allow others to talk... I swear people with Asperger’s get taken advantage of constantly... I’m not even joking... I’ve had so many people specifically target me because I guess I come off as weak or naive but I’m not either of those things at all... Just an observation I had... as soon as you said that about how unfairly you were treated... it immediately popped in my head how myself and other Aspie friends of mine have almost quite literally been picked on by their own managers or in school and things like that... I honestly feel like there’s something about our aura that people think they can just single out and treat differently... it’s so unfair. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt “psychologically bullied” like you said. Elementary school was the worst for me... I was bullied half of my life and I’ve had so many people bully me... even full grown adults. But anyway, I’m really glad you made this video cause I relate to you so so much you don’t even know. And hearing the same struggles I have, from someone else, kinda makes me feel a lot better to be honest. So thank you for that. ♥️

Yeah i always try to be myself in my videos. It's blowing my mind how extremely relatable your stories are! The "psychological bullying" thing is one of the worst and school was a terrible experience for me too. It's another reason I dread working again. Thank you so much for watching my videos and commenting, it means a lot to me! ❤

People who work in retail are not given enough credit. It’s a stressful working environment anyway. Having Asperger’s only adds to that.

That is very true, i'm staying far away from retail for now on because of it haha.

Just be grateful you are not working in Amazon. I heard the employees are being laid off almost for no reason and not working productively enough. I almost tried to work there but I doged a bullet.

I just got a job midweek stocking shelves. I honestly don't know if I can do it. Stocking shelves isn't the hardest part. It was the anxiety I would get every evening and the next day what I'm meant to do in work in the evening. I feel like the manager on shift won't give me the light of day. I ask questions about the shifts and who I'm meant to pair up with and he doesn't seem to want to explain. He just says to look at the rota 🙃 I just can't handle the anxiety I get from anticipation 😩🤢 like I feel physically sick.
