I think they totally missed the criticism about the Fiat Coupe which IS & was a totally gorgeous, innovative (in appearance) & a dream worthy design. the 'countach' that was shown ,on the other hand, was the most terrible of the 'Countach' linage & shouldn't have been used as a reference for the whole range.
