You may remember this car from previous videos and a series where we started out with a stock car and built our dread JDM street weapon. We have been using and enjoying our R32 Nissan GTR since, but some might say it is a little too much. It's been from here to as far away as Austria and Portugal, made a trip to Snowdonia and even a few laps of the Nurburgring in the time since we finished the project. After a recent "refresh and overhaul" we thought it might be time to show the little GTR a bit more than just a wash and a dry and give it the treatment it deserves before getting back out there for the season ahead.

Why the R32 is such a special car:
The Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R, often referred to by its chassis code "BNR32," stands as an automotive icon born from the golden age of Japanese sports cars. Its story is one of innovation, dominance, and enduring legacy.
In the late 1980s, Nissan was determined to redefine its presence in motorsport and street performance. The GT-R's streak of 29 consecutive victories in the championship earned it the nickname "Godzilla" among Australian racing fans, a moniker that stuck with the model ever since.
Internationally, the R32 GT-R also showcased its prowess in motorsport, notably winning the prestigious Bathurst 1000 in 1991 and the Japan Touring Car Championship multiple times. These victories not only highlighted the GT-R's performance capabilities but also cemented its status as a legend among enthusiasts and competitors alike.
Beyond the racetrack, the R32 GT-R captured the hearts of automotive enthusiasts worldwide. Its cutting-edge technology, striking design, and raw performance made it an instant classic. Despite its production ending in 1994, the R32 GT-R's legacy endured, becoming a symbol of Nissan's engineering prowess and Japan's automotive ingenuity.
