I fixed the Remote Control for my 2009 Malibu by improving the conductivity of the buttons when they touch the circuit board. Take a look at how I did it ... solution will likely work for many kinds of cars/remotes.
OMG!!! I can't tell you how I jumped for joy when this worked. Saved me $145+tax!!!! I used a tiny piece of foil and doubled sided tape in each slot. Thank you so much!!!
Damn! I was skeptical, but this worked! Only the "PANIC" horn button worked, so I tried 15 different reprogramming techniques and a new battery, and no change. Then I tried this fix on all the buttons that didn't work, and presto! It works better than ever. Thanks, man!
This ol guy is absolutely awesome! my 2008 car fob hasn't been working since i bought it from the previous owner who doesn't have any clue what the problem was. I was planning on splurging on getting new key fob until i saw this video. It worked! great video!! great guy!!!
I can't wait to try this. I've looked at my circuit board extensively and can't find any flaws. I licked the battery - yup! That works! Haha. This must be the only thing left.
