I knew this guy,a owner/operator, years back who decided to fix a leaking 30/30 brake chamber on his own without asking for assistance, back when they used a removable clamp to clamp the release/emergency chamber to the center section, just like the service side of the chamber. Monday morning when I opened the shop the first thing I noticed in the back of the service truck was a bloody work shirt and the brake chamber without a cagging bolt. Good thing now days the did away with the removable clamp and crimped in in place. If in doubt, ask!

For sure work safe, ask for help, and if you aren't sure what you're doing, don't follow dumb advice on RU-vid!

Strano che un video così ben spiegato non abbia commenti, e allora lo faccio io, complimenti, molto utile !!

Thank you! yes it seems challenging to get interaction with the videos despite my growing subscriber count. I can say with certainty that it's not because I explained it so well where it needed to further questions!

Thanks 👍 This isn't so bad to do without a lift, removing and replacing the driveline and a transfer case, now that's a different story!

This just happened to my car and I ordered the springs and don’t have the compressor to hold the spring :(

You can often rent the spring compressor for your local auto parts store. my local O'Reilly has a large assortment of stuff to rent.

So just replacing the coil springs about how long should it take to get the job done ?

I would say less than an hour per side. it's been awhile since I did this, but once I had the right tools on-hand, it went pretty quickly.

What what the tool you didn’t have ?

This is what I needed, a pass-thru socket set for tightening the nut down on the top stud of the shock: a.co/d/5p5q44S
