These tutorials are awesome! Thank you so much. However, I have another excellent tutorial with more solved examples here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xdZqsodhsBU.html
Probably one of the best videos I watched tutorial-wise, you're really good at explaining and teaching, you go step by step without skipping basics we're "supposed to already know" like a lot of programming tutorials do.
You inspired me a so much to create my own RU-vid Channel. I am an Architectural Technologist and I have been looking at ways to help people who asked me daily how to use the program. This way they can see my tips on RU-vid. Great channel mate; you inspired me. Keep up the great work! Liked and Subscribed!
Thank you. I learned a few important features. ESC key means "escape" Escape means to get out of the current command. " In this tutorial we pretend to teach" I think you mean "In this tutorial we attempt to teach..." Again, thank you. I will be watching more of your excellent lessons.
Hi +MaZEEZaM. Thank you very much. I don't put background music because I think it distracts and, people who like to watch tutorials with music, can still put it themselves.
I'm looking at these videos because I may be interviewed for a job that uses AutoCAD. I never studied or took any classes. Thank you for your services.
If your looking for some introduction to Autocad Videos, in an old school style, White Board style, Please click this link, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f5VNWXZTm4M.html
Wow. Going from knowing almost NOTHING in CAD (But with a 3D Background) to creating simple shapes in no time... that's what I call a good Tutorial. You've deserved another subscriber.
I have watched just 10mins of your first tutorial and oh boy! you are spot on. Loving every bit, step by step, slow and steady, exactly the kind of video I wanted. Please keep posting such videos, You are helping the world! Thanks a ton!
Optimum and Efficient Speed of Teaching. Not too fast that you cannot catch anything and not too boring that you have to skip a lot. Perfection by CAD in Black
Thank you very much +Jason Amwiigida to follow my videos. Soon I will upload more videos, but there is already a lot of content. Just check out in my channel
thank you so much for this very well explained tutorial. it helps me a lot in refreshing my memories on autocad after several years not using it. very clear, all things were debribed one by one. not confusing at all. deserve a subscribe!
Returning here 2 years after I first saw the video, I realised just now how much I have learnt. I am so grateful for your channel, everytNice tutorialng
Hi. Yes, in my opinion it is very important if you learn to draw with precision from the beginning. You avoid a lot of struggling with lines that don't match
Thank you for this introduction. Q - Do you have a tutorial that includes how to import say f ex: a TEXT and then to outline/draw the text so that one can use it in f ex a laser cutting machine?
Thanks a lot friend. I went from AutoDesk Inventor and SolidWorks to this. You've given me a good basic foundation of AutoCAD with this video. This took a lot of stress off of me.
Thank you this is so helpful 😭😭 literally saved a struggling architecture student’s life here👍👍 so much respect for your efforts and thanks for sharing
This is well done. I've taught CAD in High School and the guidance in this beginner tutorial is very good. Not much use of the ribbon above which some newcomers might find handy but otherwise very useful.
Hi +Jared Davis. Thank you very much for your appreciation. Also, It makes sence that using the ribbon can be easier for new students. I will take this in consideration.
Thank you so much for the video.. It's help me a lot.. I have used this software during my first year study and after a while I didn't use it.. Now I need to use it back for work.. By watching this I can recall back and learn back what I forgot or missed.. Keep it up sir.. Really appreciate your knowledge
Hi everyone I am 69 YO but thirsty to learn. tutorial is very good. My question is this when I import a PDF file the distance measurement goes crazy. for instance the dimension of a room 12' x 14' it shows 1' x 1'2". I have been changing scale and unit to what the pdf plan is still the same. what am I not doing?
Hello +Massoud Vossugh. First of all thank you very miuch for appreciating this video. When you import a PDF file you have to scale the pdf to have the dimensions that you desire. Type command SCALE -> select your drawing in pdf -> select a base point -> type "reference" -> then choose the first point of a distance that you know the dimension -> choose second point -> type the dimension that you want between the first and second point. I hope this helps :)
excellent - thank you. I used Autocad 9-13 from 1989 through 1994 full time in my work. I was lost when I went back to use it recently because it has changed so much and I've forgotten a lot over the years of using different CAD programs (PROE and Creo).
Thank you +waqas asghar. Yes it is possible to download autocad for free only for educational purposes. I have just made a video explaining how to do it. You simply need to create an student account at Autodesk. It is very easy. Please follow the steps of this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AhIVgIRfMcM.html
This is the first time i ever comment on youtube video but i found necessary to do it because i am an engineering student and I am having problems using software because m university does not focus on software that much and i have been trying to find good tutorials online because i want to improve myself regardless of what my university teaches me, so i would like to thank you for this tutorial. This is the first i watched so far, and i already cant wait to learn more, your video was informative, simple and very easy to learn. so please keep up the good work and thank you again for this great effort. keep it up.
Awesome Tutorial Cad in Black! You and your videos encouraged me to create a channel, do what I love, and help people save their best gift, THEIR TIME. Thank you! #SAVEautocadCLICKS

at 11:25 you discuss how to readjust drawing window to fit a line that won't fit in screen. BUT when I execute z then a, the grid snap is no longer practically functional. One thing I suggest for all instructors on this particular topic is that you also include how to make grid snap work again.
