This wiring kit allows your fog lights to automatically come on with the park lamps on 1999-2002 GM vehicle. The kit is extremely easy to install and takes less than 10 minutes following our installation video. Don't mess around with manually turning on your fog lights any longer; have them automatically come on every time your head lights come on with this easy kit.
After install, your fog lights will come on any time the park lamps are turned on. If you leave your switch in "Auto" mode, this means the fog lights will always be on at night.

1999 2000 2001 2002 Silverado & Sierra 1500/2500HD/3500HD

Hello my truck has the whole system the only thing it does not have is the swish I just ordered it it will work is a 2000 sierra

For those struggling to get the blue connector off because you've got a 20-year-old rig and things don't just "slide right out", it's 100% worth it to take the bottom cover off. Two screws at the bottom, rest are clips, give it a decent jerk and it'll loosen the top cover and probably the fuse cover near the door. Getting it back on without removing other panels can be tricky, but totally doable. Otherwise the mod works great. Thanks, Boost.

If system is working properly except for bad fog light switch. Will this mod make fog lamps at least usable. Have been unable to find repl. switch and have gone through several used ones.

Yes - this would allow the fog lights to trigger with park lamps when the switch is in auto, even with a faulty fog light switch.

I installed the kit as shown in the video but nothing has changed I still have to do it manually so what could be t the problem #5 white pin and # 7 green with white strip I made sure the connector’s connecting to through the wires I’m stuck

Will the fog lights continue to stay on with the hi beams if I do the "4hi" mod by grounding the low beams?

My truck didnt come with fog light so I installed a fog light harness but they wont turn on bcuz the bcm needs to be flashed will this make them turn on sense its tapping to the headlights?

This kit is designed for trucks that already have working fog lights. If the truck does not have fog lights that are functioning properly, the kit may not work.

I just bolted on fog lights onto my 99 silverado front bottom bumper. And, I just bought this kit. But I am assuming I will need to wire the fog lights also for this kit to work right? Thanks

Correct, the fog lights must operate normally first for this kit to work.

Mine just don’t even turn on anymore changed the relay it clicks the switch is hard to find and it gets power to the lights don’t know what’s goin on

Unfortunately this mod will only work if the factory lights are already functioning properly.

@@nicholasholmes4864 I have it’s the body control module it must have overwritten the program to turn on the fog lights took it to the dealer and they said 100 bucks but I just ordered a fog light harness kit with the relay and stuff so I don’t have to do that

You can do it with a relay. I used a relay that I triggered with the headlamps to supply a ground to the fog lamp switch. So fogs are on whenever the headlights are, but the fogs can be turned off or on with the parking lights.
