I love that interior. You have a really cool style I like. It all fits the way it should. Not super wild flashy stuff, just the way it would come if it was made today. That ac radio flip is literally the way it should have came anyway. Tweeter mount and lower door panels are awesome too.

I’ve only powered it up so I can’t really speak on how it performs. I don’t think the speedo will work cuz you’ll need another part. I was told the one from summit works-$99 Tge Autometer one is $280 or something. “GPS speedo sending Unit”

Nice! Yeah brother I’m an Audio control fanatic. I have some vintage pieces from the 80’s. The epicenter is a must if you are a bass head. My el has an Epic 160 from Audio Control. I was gonna drop the 13w7 in but imma go 4 8’s vented. Should be deep and rich sounding..
@@elcowarren Thinking of some sort of that setup for my 2012 Silverado. I have the ext cab to 4dr so I will prob have to build my own or spend $1500 for a single JL 10" lol. Prob go with a 4 8" sub set up firing forward. When I bought my Q1 I was told that the epic did the same rca voltage control but it also changed the freq and made it lower?? I used the Q because we all tuned pretty high to compete, then just made up for that with the raw speaker area. 80hz riding around would sound like ass. Q boosts what ever you set it at max and rolls off both sides. My 94 Beretta did 156.3 in outlaw 0-100 watt with a 5 15" speaker cube. ole Prowler hyper throws. they sounded best, soundstream SPL's hit a few 10ths harder.
I just installed this on my 87 Monte Carlo it’s cool I just had problems with the vent tube and the head light switch don’t have nothing to screw into other than that it’s a beautiful unit I also had to modify the rear defrost switch. I was saying the same thing about the pin stripe :/. Good video 👍🏿

I’m a Dakota dude. I love their setups. I have 3 different panels from them-quality parts. Can’t go wrong with them. Just wanted to try something else. Now I gotta figure how to dress it up and do something about that long stem sticking out lol

🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I was at a show years back and snapped a photo of a 57 chevy with that coolant pipe setup. Had a shop bend two stainless pipes and tig weld them together. Then polished it. Do a Google search for a Grand National Aluminum upper radiator coolant hose. It’s the same thing..
Just needs to be wired up. Nothing from the 80’s is gonna plug and play into todays tech. But! You can wire it up to be plug and play if you need to remove the panel. 16 pin connector and we good!!

Naw.. I was speaking of when I drop the LS in, I wanted to keep the factory ac…But it’s all out now. This ac unit and the crate 350 ❤motor are now in the old ladies 79 el. I have a crate LS376/525 in this 87. NA for now but it will be pro charged or Vortec a super charged later..🏁🏁🏁

in my opinion, I like the Dakota Digital vhx over all of them, that autometer almost don't even seem real, and I like to kind of keep the original look and plus I don't like the trim bezels like you said where the Pinstripes go, and it makes the air conditioner vent smaller..🤔
