I can't reiterate this enough. My very serious condolences to the family. This IS very tragic BUT... You don't blame and ban peanuts when someone allergic to peanuts eats peanuts and dies. Nobody sues the car company when they drive recklessly and end up dead. Numerous PROFESSIONAL athletes have died on the football field, riding dirt bikes, playing baseball, during basketball practice, etc. But why don't we just ban all sports? Why the F are we trying to blame the chip. The ability of the American public to dodge accountability is absolutely astounding and completely embarrassing. Blaming Paqui and/or social media in this case is like punching yourself in the nuts and then suing your own mother for having birthed you. God gave you a brain people. It's time to start using it.
Box clearly states for adult consumption only, box also states not to consume if you have preexisting medical conditions. So it's not the company's fault as it does clearly state what and who it's intended for. There is zero case here against the company. Kid had a preexisting medical condition
I called it 8 months ago when this story first hit the news. He had a pre existing health issue and shouldn't have been eating extremely spicy food. Are you suggesting that we should ban CAFFEINE AND SPICES. Straight up F you.
As a person who cannot eat spicy food, I wish to share this info. If you have eaten food that seems too spicy, get hold of a dairy food that has fat in it - (milk, ice cream or sour cream) and eat it. The dairy will neutralize the spice and the fat will strip the molecules off your tongue. You can get milk at a convenience store 24/7. 2. Chefs and manufacturers are making food more spicy all the time, and I wish they wouldn't.
So sad that young kids are engaging in so many dangerous “challenges” such as the cinnamon, tide pods, etc. Those that promote and contribute to social media “challenges” must be held to higher standards and face consequences for their threat to public health. Terrible for a parent to suffer the unimaginable pain of loss and lives cut short 😖
Anyone participating in a challenge involving food of any sort is really exposing themselves to needless risk. I don't know enough about the details of this specific case but I believe everyone should be aware and knowledgeable about the products they consume.
@@velshock Condolences to the family. This IS very seriously tragic. That said... If your son drove his car at 100 mph straight into a brick wall would you sue the car company? Does that mean all cars should be banned? God gave you a brain. Use it.
Yup another stupid challenge on Tik Tok. Funny how don't see that mentioned in the Pro Tik Tok commercials yet only shown the positive aspects. Hope it does actually get banned.. This kid must also have had health issues to begin with if hot spicy food gave him a heart attack especially at such a young age...
Yes you can… High doses of capsaicin can lead to injury to the heart or abnormal heartbeat (dysrhythmia), which can be fatal. Which happened in this case - or are you trying to say the medical examiner is wrong?
@@austinshade7155 Being a RU-vid commenter doesn’t make you smart… So it’s safe to say even if being a medical examiner “doesn’t make you right”, they have way more knowledge on the subject than people commenting and anyone that hasn’t performed an autopsy on the body of this teen 🙄 from your profile picture you look like a mall cop, so maybe you should just leave it to the experts 🤭
Now this is going to be part of the schools mentioning to all children and parents to educate their children and to keep kids away from consuming this Paqui product
