Hi Jess. I think the wide leg cropped jeans and T-shirt, blazer is lovely on you. Those proportions really work for you. I am not as slim as you are and while the pleated pants look chic in you, all that added fabric around my belly would just draw more attention to that area. Same for the cap sleeved T-shirt and while I adore the bouclé jacket and cropped cardigan, I fear they would be hitting me right at my widest parts. So, for me, the jeans with a longer sleeved T-shirt or blouse and a longer blazer is just the ticket. Thanks for these videos. You really are an excellent presenter and your style is something I strive for.

Jess, I so appreciate when you said the more classic trench coats are still good even though the more relaxing style is more trendy at the moment. I personally like to look not swallowed by my clothes since I’m petite 😊

No Jess I don't create a capsule wardrobe. I just move summer things to a different wardrobe and add new items to existing winter favourites. I haven't even switched over yet this year as it has been such a lovely autumn here in the South of France and I am going on a cruise next weekend to Greece and Turkey . A job for when I return!! Hi Jess! I loved this video a lot - such great staples! Especially the striped Betty cardigan from Sézane is one of my favorites (coz' I'm absolutely mad about stripes 🥰😆) and I wonder which size you're wearing. I'm 5,77 and ponder if I should buy an M or an S. (I already own a Gaspard cardigan in S and one in M and 2 Barry cardigans in M but choosing the right size is always a challenge 🙄). Hi Niki, thanks so much for getting in touch:) I went for the striped cardigan in the medium as I was a little conscious it might come up too cropped for me? In hindsight I think I could have easily gone for my usual small and it would have been fine, it comes up longer than I thought it would. All good here hun, half term just started for us so we're off to York next week for a little break. Happy Sunday, Jess. I loved all the outfit ideas and you did give me inspiration to take my own pieces that I already have and style them in unique ways. I just ordered a pair of winter white trousers that I should receive this week. I truly hope they fit because I was looking for a dressier pant to wear this autumn/winter. The blouse that you are wearing is absolutely stunning. Does it come with the camisole? I have a striped and black cropped lady jacket and I will definitely try to style them the way you suggested. Hi Jess - lovely video as always. I'm with you on the wider leg jeans - I have worn skinny and straight leg jeans for ages and found them easy to wear and you don't have to worry too much about the length when wearing them with different shoes and boots as they are easy to turn up or down! However I've got a slightly wider leg pair now and find myself wearing them much more as they just look more modern. One issue I'm having is finding mid rise jeans at the moment as high rise just don't don't suit me - I'm an apple shape with a large bust and a waist which is always on the larger side no matter how much weight I lose and slim hips and thighs. Despite being a completely different shape (and colouring) from you I really look forward to your videos and love seeing how you style different outfits. Have a lovely Sunday.x

I love all the outfits you wore. I have a pair of all around pleated camel pants, I'm sorta color blind. It's either camel or light tan. What color top would you put with it. Hi Renee, thanks so much for getting in touch:) Yes I do love a tonal look or adding a lighter beige or ecru with camel always looks beautiful. In terms of more vibrant colour though I think a deep red can work brilliantly against camel too, and has the handy side bonus of making the camel look even more rich in tone:) Hope that gives you a few ideas lovely:)

I'd love to buy so many items you've shown here but I'm on a budget of course. I have the Gary Jumper in navy and black and my husband really likes it on me. Hello my friend 🖐🏽 Jess, Fantastic video 👏🏽👏🏽. Nothing like a monochromatic outfit black or white. I love the cardigan jackets. I purchased a black with white stripes per your suggestion 😀. I think I will purchase a solid black one too 😁. The full length black coat is incredible. I purchased a cashmere one last year. It is one of those staples that is chic & timeless. I have it dry cleaned in the summer months & have it in a coat cover to keep it maintained. Perhaps, you could do a video on how to take care of your wardrobe, accessories, shoes, handbags, etc? Oh no that's early:/ For any particular reason or just the joys of women's bodies waking them up at silly o clock? I suffer with this too and randomly my friend recommended a magnesium foot cream that's apparently totally fixed her early waking? I'm definitely going to give it a go so I'll let you know! Anyhow Im waffling, sorry where were we? Trench coats, yes it is waterproof and I like how oversized it is from a versatility point of view with chunky knits underneath etc. I've linked more of a classic option in the description box too if you prefer. @@FashionStyleEdit Thanks for your reply Jess 😊 yes, the second one you mentioned, or a flare up of fibromyalgia, the symptoms are the same! I’ll try the magnesium; I take it in tablet form but frequently forget. I was advised that it’s best absorbed through the skin. I’ll check out the trench coats you linked. I’m on the lookout for one that will last forever. Or a very long time at least!

Your videos are always so inspirational, Jess! Question: How do you feel about wide leg, full length jeans with flats? I am your height and very similar build. Your opinion means a lot to me, so thank you very much in advance 🙂

That's kind thank you Gina:) I must admit I'm not hugely keen on full wide-leg jeans with ballet flats as the shoes tend to get lost under all the fabric. I've seen it done nicely with Mary-jane flats and I can see the appeal, particularly for tall women, but it's not for everyone. If I'm going to go flat I think trainers work nicely as there's a little bulk there or I prefer flats that are a little pointed in the toe rather than round to help keep the leg feeling elongated. I then tend to generally use my round toe flats with straighter leg bottoms plus of course I like to have the ballet flats on show a little more:) Hope that helps Gina

Love the wide leg cropped jeans on you, but curious to hear if/how the taller ladies out there have pulled this look off? I'm 5'11" (180 cm) and slim and feel ridiculous in this style. Maybe I've just not found the right pair...?
