Thanks to Dave Plummer for finding this backing track... he's a great teacher based in Leicester UK. You get this backing track from the itunes store or on spotify just look under ProSound karaoke (nostalgic style). I don't have the music to it in D minor, I just played by ear, but it is a tune I play week in week out in A minor.... Hope you enjoy this one, I like the laid back feel. Set up as ever is a Link HR 7 with a 3 alexander dc reed, Selmer Ref 36 sax

I LOVE that part at 2:16 where the piano kinda creeps back up. It's as if the sax and keys cross paths. This sounds really great.

Matthew - Great playing. The two tenor players I got to hear the most live were Dexter & Gato Barbieri. I know it probably sounds whacky, but on this cut you remind me of Gato. Not in tone, but in phrasing & lyricism. Very nicely done. Hope you'll be posting more in the New Year. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I really can't find the words to describe your playing. So I won't even try. Can you do me a favor?
