Nice to see Erlestoke Manor who is wishing she could slow down before she comes to the station throat. ERLESTOKE MANOR: Please slow me down, I'm frightened I'll smack into the buffers at the other end one of these days. Don't just have me stop dead, that's what gives the passengers bumps and bruises. Slow me gradually down to a smooth halt away from the loop points. That's how I'm driven in real life. This is Erlestoke Manor complaining, not me.

Yaaay, the 9F makes another appearance!

This video is proof the hobby is far from dying out as some around the globe would like to believe. The scene where the loco is coupling up,is great but slightly spoiled in terms of DC locos not fully able to slow properly for such function and video frame, speaking in terms of my own experience with my models. Maybe the newer models are more tolerant here, lol my controller has slight defect where as the power isnt totally isolated in 0% power and let an involuntary small supply make the loco crawl smoothly to a gentle couple up. Otherwise another delightful gem of a video . I dont recall the signal man watching over previously, but n nice surprice😂

Morning Lewis, what a busy morning at Misselthwate, loved the make up of the goods train the mixture makes for a interesting train, you can imagine the different wagons being dropped off as it proceeds to its final destination. Likewise the passenger trains the make up and the passengers some local some going maybe to London to head all over the country. You've really got my imagination fired up. Thanks for the time to put these films together, always a pleasure to watch, Eddy xx

The realism and high quality camerawork is a delight to behold! Having watched most, if not all, of your videos and appreciated your attention to detail, I have 2 observations... First, your "pausing" prior to coupling up the Manor in this video reproduces with 100% accuracy the way this procedure was - and still is - undertaken in real life. Second, was the change from "express passenger" identification lamps to "ordinary passenger" lamps once the Manor had run round its train deliberate?

Another enjoyable train spotting session, Thanks. Question: that end of the goods siding near the signal box, is it usable on your layout or is it just for show? I've never seen you use it. I'm thinking of using this track plan for my station. If it is usable I'd love to see a video of you shunting it.
