@@myz383 I have included an Auxito instruction. These are very good LED lights, been running them on my 2011 RAV4 V6 for 3 years, the only thing I don't like is when I installed them the computer turned off my day running lamps., but it's a vice I'm comfortable with to see better at night on the old country Roads.
All Led Headlight bulbs are installed vertical at 9 0clock & 3 0clock & that's the only way they should be be installed in all Headlight Housings Kind Regards Peter
Hi brotha, i recommend using a different kind of H7, that is adjustable, the LED chips need to face out in the 3 & 9 o’ clock position to have the exact same beam pattern as the halogens. The beam pattern is now off and warped having the LED chips face 12 & 6.
this type of LED headlight won't blind the opposite drivers but light output wise, they wont be as bright (or as consistent) as the ones with proper heatsink. it's either the LEDs were severely underdriven or you gonna lose quite a bit of light output when both chip and driver is hot (some heats up as fast as 30mins, some takes hours). take a look on big brand name LEDs. they all have at least passive cooling to dissipate all the heat. ive been wondering why they didnt send you the proper ones. your headlight seems big enough to acommodate heatsink and even separate driver for better heat distribution
Thank you for the feedback and I will keep the video description updated if I notice ant glitches. As of right now they operating fine but I'm sure in the summer the story might change, I will keep you posted.
@@RANDOMFIX im more than happy to help. heat management is critical for LED lightings in order to make them reliable and consistent. the LED chips itself is fine on this one since they're not COB or anything way bigger than halogen filament. this is the key to not to blind the opposite drivers for reflector headlight other than the chip placement itself. you have more slack on picking chip types on projector but not on reflector
Awesome, you know a lot about these led lights. I just know how to install them. Can you tell me about the different chips, etc and want to look for? The only thing I know is about the color of the light and also to make sure to get an aluminum case when possible with a quite fan.
@@RANDOMFIX I happened to be a victim of wrong bulb on wrong headlight. almost crashed my car because of blinding glares from the opposite side!. that's why i did a lot of research before i decided to retrofit LEDs on my car. what you want for reflector headlights is either CSP, ZES, or Altilon chips. Altilon is the current best in term of efficiency and focus but they only used by Philips itself on their X-Treme Ultinon G2 and Ultinon Pro series. bigger LED size would cause blinding glares because the light source would be out of the reflector focus range. it might be good for high beam reflector but low beam is a big no.
oh yeah. the CSP and ZES/Altilon i mentioned is 1x3 configuration (single row, 3 chips per side on single beam LEDs). there is 1x4, 2x3, and 2x4 configurations and they would create glares on low beam. 1x4 might be tolerable but the others, i guarantee you'll hear swears from the opposite drivers
So how have they done until now? And how long have you been able to keep them on constantly without noticing a change in light output due to heating... curious if you've had that opportunity yet. Thanks in advance.
These Auxito don’t have errors. You need these for very sensitive vehicles like mercedes on other vehicles like Toyota you can use pretty much any led and you will not have issues.
@@leonardgoldberg2879 mmm... your definition of 'horizontal' seems flawed LOL If you position the chips horizontal, they will 'face' 12 and 6 o'clock. Maybe it's different where you're from LOL
@@leonardgoldberg2879 LOL, oh, it's a loss in translation then! Imagine a 'horizon', the sky is at the 12 o'clock position, and the ground is at the 6 o'clock position. Anyway, vertically is how I installed my H7s and they are perfectly aligned having been checked by an MOT center, (a UK legally required car mechanical test) with the LED chips facing at 3 and 9. Right, I'm away to look at a sunset now, I'll be looking at the horizon, then tilting my head up at the 12 o'clock position 🤣

So I seen on Amazon the bulb you got is supposed to be a fog light bulb and then they have another one that's supposed to be the headlight bulb does it really make a difference I see that this one works better than the actual headlight bulb that looks like a pyramid
