I just learned that this was my son-in-law's favorite song ~ we lost him to cancer over a year ago. I feel sure he's singing it directly to his Savior in Glory! But I still can't listen to it without crying!!! Oh, God, does the grief and hurt ever go away?
Ten years later, I pray that you still see His faithful hand upholding you and your family through every trial. You'll always grieve the absence but you won't always mourn the passing. Maybe you're still with us, maybe you're with him now, but either way you will testify to God's love forever.
It took me about 3 years to feel relief from grieving the loss of the love of my life. And it still lingers once and a while after. But the Lord draws near to the brokenhearted hearted and he will uplift you and mount you on wings of an eagle and gives you His peace and Joy, which it truly is a blessing to just have peace and Joy, even if nothing else. Suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope. Never stop reaching for the Lord dear loved one! Imagine how worth it and wonderful it will be when we make it over to the other side to be with our Father and our saviour! It always hurts when you're going through something, but peace and Joy, the rainbow always awaits us with relief on the other side of it. Praise Him 👏 🙌 🙏 May you be blessed abundantly in Christ Jesus!

I remember singing to this in my car, at home in 2000 studying for nursing school classes. I am now 69 and I love it just as much. I will testify to Jesus Christ for as long as I have breath!

The young girl whose bicycle it was was grateful and told me she had to get home quickly for dinner. I felt like one of the apostles whose shadow fell upon the cripple and sick and they were miraculously healed of their affliction. THERE ARE NO LIMITATIONS TO WHAT GOD, ONLY GOD, CAN DO THRU A PERSON WHOSE LIFE IS TOTALLY YIELDED TO HIM, FOR HIS PURPOSES!

Touched by an Angel reminded me and my husband of this song that we had both listened to years ago! The episode “Psalm 151” touched us both so deeply that we found the Testify to Love soundtrack and sang it as a duet in our church! It’s really amazing how the LORD works in our lives! This was kinda one of my favorite songs when I was a kid, back in 1997 when this song hit the radio waves. I was 10. I remember riding around with my family, in the back seat of the car heading up into the mountains and forests of Georgia, hearing this on the local Christian radio station. Fast forward 20+ years, I'm now 30 and agnostic borderline atheist. Long story. But, every once in a while when I'm feeling nostalgic, I can kind of come back to this and jam out and it sends shivers all over my body and brings tears to my eyes, still to this day. I don't know what it means. And I'm okay with that. I guess my message is, just be kind to one another.

I actually first sung it in church then a few days later saw it on Touched by an Angel. Somehow the Anglican Parish I was a member of thought about using it for the music leading up to the gospel reading.
I left that not only because that place had expired in my life but to pursue someone I really did love…..and still do. I had to let that Love go for the BOTH of us. Being in that dessert was unknowingly the preparation and the first steps in overcoming many many “demons”. That few months up North proved I loved her but it was a time of refining and overcoming. I knew long before I arrived there I wasn’t going to stay. It was written! As for the man I took an extreme liking for while I was there, we’re not really for each other. Though I loved him, I knew we were not for each other. So, I returned here to the sea because the desert is expired and to uncover truths so I can break cycles. What an adventure! ✨

Every time I hear it or play it I choked up and sometimes cry, not for me but for what God has done for ALL of us. Times are bad sometimes but he is always there watching over us. My Mom joined the Lord a year ago. Miss her deeply. But I know I'll see her again. My Dad misses her deeply too. They were married 51 years. It's been difficult on him, my two brothers, and me. I absolutely love this song. It's edging its way up close to being my favorite song. I rediscovered it two days ago after 10-15 years of dormancy while making a playlist of all the old worship songs I grew up singing. Thus, there is overwhelming nostalgia, and taking a fresh look at it now, it's a perfectly beautiful song. If I live out this song for the rest of my life, I shall be content. So fun to play on the guitar, too. And it was written by Wynonna Judd...I love her original version, too. It is a rare worship song that makes me cry, gives me chills every time I hear it, makes me sing along at the top of my lungs, or makes me dance, and this song does all of those. I just now decided, I want this played at my funeral.

It must have been about 20 years that during a church service . I took part in our church choir as a kid , and we sang this song with sign language interpreters Nexts to us. It’s a song I’ve never forgotten and remember feeling Gods presence that day.

Back in the late 90's/early 2000, I saw Avalon, Nicole Nordeman (a remarkable powerhouse in her own right) and Anointed at a mega-church in Camp Hill, Pa.. Awesome concert. Tom Dooley (R.I.P.) of "The Journey" radio show loved Avalon too.
I lost faith back in 2014 due to some things I was angry at the lord for but I recently asked him to come back into my heart. I am trying to get the lord to work in my life once again and to help me get rid of my depression and anxiety. I do have fears that he will deny me but I am praying he won't do that.
Even if all the Christian songs in the world get destroyed one day my heart will never stop worshipping God to songs like this ❤🙋♀️🙌🙏 I can't wait to learn more songs in Heaven!
